The truth is that under Tudor and after Brighton got the late equalizer weeks ago, we were effectively down. West Ham did us a few favours as did Villa, Newcastle, etc. It was out of our hands and the board 100% fucked it and deserved relegation.
I am glad it’s over of course. But we should understand how close we were to disaster, and how much luck we had to get for us to avoid it.
