Yeah I think we should give him a go as number 1 - he's earned it. As long as we have a capable backup we'll be OK for a season if it doesn't work out anyway.

And even if he does prove a little raw we'll really struggle to find any keeper as good as he is with his feet, and that's really importsnt in a De Zerbi team and takes so much pressure off the rest of the team in possession.

I would go for Henderson over Pickford if it was between the two.

Pickford does have quite a few bozo moments in him. Reminds me a little of Hugo in his last few years with us.

Will be interesting to see what happens in the summer now as RDZ will start to drop the nice amicable act when it gets into the real business of actually wanting to compete.

I've been of the opinion for a while that as a scout Lane is actually quite good. The individual players that he identify are all either good or youngsters with a lot of potential.

His issue is that he lacks the knowhow to take these individuals and put together a functioning squad. Which is what whoever replaces him/gets brought in to work with him needs to be good at. Someone that if Lange stays can tell him "we need these positions. Bring me some options."

Tarkowski didn't even get a yellow for that blatant elbow, did he? Less violent and deliberate than Delap's on Djed last week, but still left his mark on Kev's right eye socket and well worthy of a booking. Kudos to Kev for fighting on...proper hard bastard.

If the club doesn't have a major public go at PGMOL for the way we've been effed for 3 seasons in a row, then they can't complain if/when we get screwed over again next year.
 
Has shown in the last few games how good he can be. Far more comfortable with Antonin between the sticks than Vicario, he just seems so much calmer.

Antonin needs to be #1 next season without a doubt. That game gainst Atletico was the making of the lad.
 
The redemption arc for him could build him into Spurs-blooded cult hero for us in time to come if we stay by him to be the no 1 next season. I wouldn't mind honestly. He will only get better I guess. Just improve on his stretches and he may just be very good actually.
