He’d be our best midfielder. He’s not really like Gallagher attributes wise. Gray either really. Bergvall maybe but he’s still young. This guy could be the figurehead of a new De Zerbi team. He’s got a big personality on the pitch. Big personality on the ball. He’s a sure fire thing as you can get imo.I don’t really understand this transfer. He’s another No 8 like Gallagher, Gray, Bergvall, etc.
He’s good but if we don’t have someone who can spray it around midfield and get it forward early then it’s moot having another ball carrier. He's better than what we have going off this year, looks a good player.
From when i've watched him he looks like an all round midfielder, not just a ball carrier. He’s good but if we don’t have someone who can spray it around modified and get it forward early then it’s moot having another ball carrier.
I really don't get what RDZ sees in Udogie. We all know he's shit and lazy. Body made out of crystal too. I know they're both Italians, but come on.We know that he really likes Udogie, so I guess we are looking for someone as a back up.
He’s not a progressive passer. The stats show that. Sign players for our weakest positions first - LW, ST, DLP.From when i've watched him he looks like an all round midfielder, not just a ball carrier.
If you wanted 2 for every position ready plus the injuries plus youngsters it'd be a way over bloated squad and a complete waste of money imo. I think we need to fix key areas this summer that we don't have 1 feasible option let alone 2 in left wing and striker and then go from there. I think next season we have no European football so a huge squad is unnecessary. Getting to the bottom of these long term injuries for me is above 2 for every position. We have some utility players that can play a variety of positions.I would not be happy with that approach. If players are not fully fit for pre-season then then should not be counted on. We need to buy so we have 2 quality, 'ready now' players in each position for the start of the season. I think that we also need two new CFs, but am happy for De Zerbi to run the rule over a fully fit Solanke as RDZ likes an intelligent CF with good movement off the ball and one touch play as a focal point of his attack.
LW and ST are weakest yes, but if you can get Scott you get him while you can. He’s not a progressive passer. The stats show that. Sign players for our weakest positions first - LW, ST, DLP.
Am I wrong about all of these players out?
Vicario, Porro, Romero, Dragusin, Bissouma, Muani
100% Porro should stay
Ben Davies as well, tragically.Am I wrong about all of these players out?
Vicario, Porro, Romero, Dragusin, Bissouma, Muani
I don’t think he was counting injured playersHe’s also got Odebert, Kudus and Xavi to think of ….amd 2 of those can’t be sold for a good while.
getting it forward early doesn’t mean much or spraying it around either. That doesn’t hurt anyone unless you draw players out, move them out of shape. To do that more than anything you need 1 v 1 ability, ball retention, little give and goes etc. watching the Newcastle three agsinst West Ham. That’s what they do. Same when you watch Man City. They all can carry the ball, their passing is mostly simple but effective because of their ball manipulation and 1 v 1 ability, it’s mostly triangles and give and goes. Scott can do that. Should be the top target. He’s good but if we don’t have someone who can spray it around midfield and get it forward early then it’s moot having another ball carrier.
No he should go
