This guy is basically a politician isn’t he. Someone who has grabbed the big job by meetings and knowing the corporate lingo. With Vinai and Lange you just feel like there is nothing there, a fancy suit, spreadsheets and handshakes but beneath a hollow shell.

You look at De Zerbi who to be frank is a lunatic but he has substance to him. It’s the very opposite

TBF I didn’t ( and probably still don’t) know anything about her ; apart from that .

It’s reassuring to know that she is a genuine fan ( and has exquisite taste in players , hopefully she’s still got that poster up on a wall somewhere ) .

Like I said; I was basing my ( unduly harsh ) assessment on having watched a couple of 2-3 second clips of her ; let’s hope she really is “ one of us “ .

We have a serious deficiency of football nous at board level as Toby Alderweireld recently pointed out.

I’d definitely make room for him and Brad Friedel within the organisation.

We need more ex-Spurs people in the building over corporate suits.

The suits can keep the football people honest financially, but they shouldn’t be anywhere near the footballing decisions.

No, we wait to see how quickly and on who we appear to spend money on and who we get out of the door.

We wait to hear if De Zerbi stirs or appears content. That gives us our answers.

I can't stand the CEO or Lange but that is not to say the capacity, with input to be be much improved isn't there

Let's pause for now, as further change doesn't necessarily make things better.

Budgets and specific player targets aside; we are royally fucked at the negotiating table (both agents and clubs) with these 2 clowns pulling the strings.

A million miles away from Paratici or Levy........
