Player Cristian Romero

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If that challenge on VDV today is done by Romero on an opponent he is off.

I think he’s gone anyway. A club doesn’t sign Sensini and bring back Voskovic (from what he’s said) if they are keeping all their centre backs. He called VDV the best left sided centre back in the league after the match today, so he’s not going anyway. Romero will go, it’s just where, not when.

Love all my Spurs brothers and sisters equally after yesterday but please, for the love of god, please tell me you're not going to do this all next season?:D

I think we have just got to the point that he can’t stay. He only flew back due to fan pressure. He wants away. We have Vuskovic. Let’s shake hands and separate

Worried that he will stay. No club will want this clown. That he's on about 200k per week doesn't help. 200k for the worst CB in the premier League. Almost single handedly leading a big team to relegation.

The team news guy on twitter said he met with Atletico a few weeks ago.

He seems to be the new reliable ITK so he'll be interesting to follow this summer.

If Mourinho joins Real, that is a perfect fit.

Another balloon knot with a massive ego to join the travelling circus.

Simeone will also have money to spend with Griezeman and Alvarez leaving.

Either of those bellends would love him.

I'm fine with him leaving. We should get a decent fee and with Vusakovic coming we might be able to put most of that fee towards other areas in the team that we need.

He's a good player but he gets refereed differently it seems and defenders should theoretically be the ones easier to replace since its more about how you defend as a unit. His ball playing ability is great but I'd rather we have midfielders who could do that instead of relying on a defender to progress the ball.

Just be good to sell Romero for so many reasons, and the notion that the only basis from some is that he gets 'refereed differently grossly seems to miss many points.

Alongside Frank, Lange, and Ventkatesham, by far the main contributor to the season we just had.

What we need to do is ensure we buy before we sell, if that is feasible.

Hope he does well at the WC (with Argentina losing to England in the final), his stock rises and we get around £50m.

Between Vuskovic, VDV, Senesi, Danso, Ashley Phillips, Dragusin? (RDZ rates his mentality). There’s enough depth there to bin off the toxic cunt and invest in another part of the pitch.

Maguire is actually decent on the ball, and infinitely more of a goal threat.

I think it's quite a big gamble, especially because Stones is just so prone to injury.

He’s nowhere close to as good on the ball as Stones. Stones is a carrier and an incisive passer, Maguire is mostly just a carrier. He’s also far more clumsy.

Stones is very injury prone but very good when fit
