Transfers Summer 2026 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Liverpool really missed Nunez this season. He misses sitters but he causes havoc for teams. I’d take him here definitely. He’s a player that makes the team function better. Bit like Jackson at Chelsea. Just need to put goals around them.
He’s a perfect fit then. Luckily we’ve built an entire attack of players who just need goals around them :langetroll:

It won’t be 60m this summer.
Because as with Mathys Tel, the enormous future promise he once showed has dimmed considerably in the past 18 months.

Lange seems to love a player who can be had below the understood market value of the recent past (Werner, Tel, Palhinha, RKM, Xavi, Robertson) but in every case there should be more attention paid to the reason the player's price has dropped.

You can imagine him convincing the higher-ups that these reflect market overreactions, but true top quality players are inherently rare, and when they show themselves to be less than that it should be an important signal.

Think everyone needs to remember that free transfers are not free. Seen a lot of mentions of “no outlay” for the likes of Robertson and Senesi.

With signing fees, agent fees, etc, probably £20m - £30m?

Here it is, mate.

I mean, I skim read it because it's tabloid bollocks but where does it say that we won't be spending in transfers this summer?
It's mostly speculative and superficial waffle.

It does seem he fixes on players and can’t let go.

His agent doing his job.

Going to be a lot of links over next while, most of which will be bullshit. Hopefully over next few months we'll see which journos have close links to RDZ, might be time to start following Italian journos again like we did with Paratici
Spoiler alert: They're all full of shite.

Similar to horse racing, the "experts" are loud & confident, and generally no more successful than the betting public.

Just an industry to create web traffic and talkshow listeners during the offseason.

I believe the signing of Conor Gallagher has disrupted our midfield rebuild. Beyond his work rate, he is an extremely average player who wouldn’t look out of place in a Championship side. He struggles to progress the ball, he cannot pass consistently, receive on the half‑turn, or drop a shoulder to create space. In truth, he lacks the technical qualities required of a modern midfielder and offers little outside of energy and professionalism.

In a genuinely strong team he would be, at best, a sixth‑choice midfield option. The bigger issue is that he’s on relatively high wages, which makes it difficult to offload him and bring in a proper upgrade.

I would take Nunez in a heart beat. Great player, absolute handful and rapid.

Improve his finishing and he's elite.

This is my wishlist for summer :

Attacking Mid/Wing/Strikers:
  1. Keep Maddison, Tel, Kudus.
  2. Moore comes back.
  3. Remove Xavi & Odobert from squad atleast till Jan.
  4. Sell Kulu , Richarlison, Solanke
  5. Buy Troy Parrott. Keep Lankshear.
  6. Buy a LW - Mika Godts / Nico Williams / Kenan Yidiz - SPEND BIG
  7. Buy another up & coming no9 - Nicolo Tresoldi / Christian Kafone
This means your CF for next year is Parrott/ Lankshear and another untested youngster (22 or younger). BTW, I think Tresoldi is going to Serie A.
That’s a combined <5 EPL games experience there and a total roll of the dice.

His finishing will never improve. That’s like asking Moussa Sissoko to improve his finishing. He doesn’t have it in him. He’s a hothead who doesn’t have any composure in his game. Clinical strikers are cold in front of goal, like Kane, Haaland, Son etc. It’s something innate.

Whoever our striker signing is they need to be a killer. Not another rumble tumble loon like Richarlison, who either scores a 1 yard tap in or a bicycle kick. We need someone that is ruthless.
