Still think he’s shit. He serves a purpose for RDZ at least : set a tone and lead a press in sleepy matches but his touch is horrendous and he basically has no quality. He's like a white Sissoko who waves his arms a lot.

He's far better technically than Sissoko.

But yeah, he's the workman in the midfield really, stick two technical players in there and you have balance, players like Gallagher provide balance in a side, unless you're Barca/Spain 2010, you need players who do the dirty work and have leg power. In that regard he's valuable.
