Broader point is that the leadership thing is not a gimmick.
Standards don't slip to the levels we have seen if you have proper characters in the dressing room. Stones and Robertson go a long way to ensuring that.

My priority list would be:
1. GK, RB, CB, LB
2. 1 or 2 ball-playing central midfielders. Because without them ther's no need for sexy wingers or strikers.
3. Wingers and Strikers.
Better for him to keep playing instead of sitting on the bench.
He's not a lock for game time here. Not even close.
