We’ll trade for another 2-3 years on his contract and a pay increase.
It won’t mean Jack in 2028 if the player forces a sale.
We would only sell if the right offer comes in. Another Bundesliga team of the year performance only helps. If Bayern have a spare 100m knocking about they can have him.

Hopefully Spurs are looking a very different and more attractive proposition by the 27/28 season.

I thought Udogie was great yesterday and while he does have his flaws, he's a very good LB if he can keep his body in one piece.
I don't think he shit or lazy at all, I think he lacks in creating attacking opportunities but that's something that can be taught to a young player.
You have to be kidding right ?
I had a feeling that this would happen. We stayed up by a cunt hair , and now people are clinging on to any positives to keep hold of these players , If we had been relegated like we actually deserved to be , no one would want any of them .
Udogie is fucking shite, needs to be out the door asap. He is not going to improve no matter how many opportunities he has .
Remember these useless bastards nearly got this club relegated before anyone starts feeling sorry for them.Fuck em , Fuck em off out of it

I think you've personally got that back to front, forwards should really be our priority and then work our way backwards.

Our defence is mainly shit because when our forwards get the ball they do fuck all and end up losing it.
Games are won and lost in midfield.

We have got to focus on how we move the ball from back to front. We’re horrific at it.

Whether it’s controlled possession or direct counters, we can’t pass the ball.

The midfield sucks at picking the ball up off the defence and they rarely give the ball to attackers in favourable positions.

You can’t force a player to play for a club if he wants to leave. Harry only stayed because he didn’t want to taint his Spurs legacy. Others all forced their way ou. Vuskovic doesn’t have any Spurs legacy. He feels more at home. in Germany with the promise of playing with his cheating brother.

You definitely can force a player to play if he's got long enough on his contract. Look at Kane and Modric. All the player can do is go on strike but if the club digs in and refuses to let them leave they'll normally settle down and reintegrate into the squad. Think Vuskovic will stay if he's got long enough on his contract. Not sure how long he signed for and how long he's got left?

That is the common belief.

And yet we've conceded 57+ goals in four straight seasons across 4 separate full time managers and a couple interims.

I think a lot of our defenders are overrated. Despite their agents regularly trying to gin up moves for them, no one really wants any of them. That speaks volumes.

I agree but i do think thats largely down to lack of organisation and structure along with declining levels of leadership.

Although a small sample size Di zerbi has shown what can be possible with us conceding 7 in the 7 games hes had and even then 3 of those were given away (Chelsea, Leeds pen) or very unlucky (sunderland). Thats a huge improvement and (up there with city and goons) when you consider how weak our attack is in possession and the rate in which we lose control of posession because of it. He achieved that whilst also largely playing front foot attacking football.

I think we are more than capable and will tighten things up whilst also being front footed and get better at controlling games. RDZ is a brilliant manager and if we can give him the tools required (cm, lw, st of good quality) we can really begin to look like a very good outfit pretty fast.

We also have to remember that most pl sides have big threats these days and are capable of getting goals.
Just to add the best 2 tems defensively are City and arse and they both field 4 cb in their lineups plus a dm to account and allow for their styles of play. The difference is they have the attacking goods to balance that out.

Frankie De Jong from Barca might be worth a look. Doesn't really get a game for them and would definitely improve our midfield. Not sure if he's had injury issues though. Might be gettable for about 40-50mil.

Yeah our midfield is shite.

We need players at Maddison level and above instead of hoarding mediocre players

None of our current lot walk into any top ten side

Is the Bundesliga really a consistently good indicator for PL readiness? Didn't Simmons do well there? Wirtz? Sancho?

Personally I think we need some experience and leadership in the back line and I'd be happy for Vuskovic to go somewhere on loan for another year to continue his development (ideally somewhere better than the Bundesliga though).

I'd like to see Tel and Bergvall go out on loan to improve as well. Neither seem 1st eleven PL ready.
The way people go on as if the prem is som unattainable level of football is hilarious.

There’s a direct correlation between us signing “prem proven” players and us getting actively worse.
