It doesn’t matter what level the club is at, you should always have a succession plan.

The reason Brighton were comfortable letting Bissouma go was precisely because they believed Caiceido would either match or exceed his level. Same goes for Baleba now.

we’re basically back at the 2004 level and have to build ourselves back up. Then if we hit a tipping point like we did in 2017-18 this time make the correct calls.

Big clubs also sell their best players and move on. It happens.
That it's all fundamentally about scouting and signing good players is true enough.

But the point is, if your aim is to compete for and win the biggest titles - and at Spurs in our current stadium with our current commercial ambitions it must be, there is no other choice - you look to City and Woolwich and Liverpool as models, not clubs who do not face the same challenges you do.

"If only we could be Bournemouth but richer" is not a thing, Bournemouth is able to be Bournemouth precisely BECAUSE they aren't an established big and wealthy club.

That duo was fine. But we've not had a proper class midfield since those Wanyama and Dembélé days. It should be the priority position this year and everything else will look easier.

On Dembélé, not sure apart from Modric that there's been a player as good at holding onto the ball, he was incredible. As good as Vic was, and I ordered Vic, that ability on the ball was frightening.
Modric & Dembele dominated in different ways; with Modric it was beautiful watching him pass and move and plotting to pull the defensive lines out of their shape just enough so he could exploit gaps through his dribbling or passing.

Dembele was a freak of nature. He could hold off 3-4 players and suddenly there’d be more room for the creators/attackers to do damage.

It was a shame that we never got to see Modric and (pre injury) Sandro together.

We have to put ourselves in the position where we bully the Bournemouth’s and Brighton’s because we’ve got no chance against the elites. At least for now.

This entire decade of mismanagement has been so damaging to the club’s reputation in the football world.

Probably half of these players, especially the LW/RW are unattainable, unfortunately.

'Cremonese had emailed a contract extension to the player, but it 'wasn't received.'

'Upon checking the read receipts, only one was found.

It's... ..... Rebekah Vardy's account.'

You have to be kidding right ?
I had a feeling that this would happen. We stayed up by a cunt hair , and now people are clinging on to any positives to keep hold of these players , If we had been relegated like we actually deserved to be , no one would want any of them .
Udogie is fucking shite, needs to be out the door asap. He is not going to improve no matter how many opportunities he has .
Remember these useless bastards nearly got this club relegated before anyone starts feeling sorry for them.Fuck em , Fuck em off out of it
Thomas Frank, Lange and Vinai nearly got this club relegated, not the 20 (odd) years olds we ended up depending on.
If we can keep him fit and he gets a proper run of games, I think there's a good player in Udogie.
He's certainly not "shit".

Godts looks fucking absurd. Unbelievable. Caveat being it’s the Eriedivisie
We should be buying him in addition to a more established name at LW. We either go in for Godts this summer or else he goes to Chelsea or PSG in a year for like £75m.

They're in a lot of trouble. Already losing money hand over fist in the Prem and have all that transfer debt. Going to have to sell anyone of value except Bowen just to stay afloat.
