That’s not great news and Miguel Delaney is usually well informed although David Ornstein is the most informed. We presume Romero will be gone and Dragusin won’t be far behind.
We will have Micky, Senesi, Danso . Will need 4 centre backs for the season with our injury history.
Would have thought Vuskovic would be ideal for playing out from the back.
It depends on what De Zerbi wants so we’ll have to go with him.

Hate that. But I imagine it was a my way or the highway type deal. With us having no European football, we can get away with a smaller squad. But fuck sake. Based on this season's performances, he'd be our best CB.

None of them are informed at all.

Micky Van de Ven had already outed them.

Have we all forgotten Romano and Ornstein announcing Eze?

They're very well informed. They get the info directly from players agents. At the time of posting, it could've looked like a done deal and then the Arse came out of nowhere.

My mate is friendly with Frimpong's last agent and he has those lads on WhatsApp and was chatting regularly.

If true, this is a trade for more years on the back end.
As it is, he is signed through 2030 — so absolutely not worth it unless he extends to 2032 or beyond.

It pisses me off that his agent and family still seem to be setting the terms for his contract rather than the club.

Don’t know what this does to our center back recruitment. Senesi is a left footed cent back and Danso shouldn’t really be first choice still assuming that Romero is off

In contrast, a pal of mine is a runner for the BBC and used to work for BBC sport.

He said the BBC's football journalists scoured every league clubs forums all day, every day, to see who each were talking about, then made up tweets for those exact players to those exact clubs.

It isn't about being correct, it's about farming clicks for ad revenue.

As Van de Ven already said.

I don’t think it’s fair to compare that amateurish left wing shitshow to the Athletic

That's fair enough. It's their jobs to get clicks. A lot of them say nothing by talking about silliness back and forth, but if they just blatantly lied, they wouldn't be trusted sources. Agents also feed them absolute lies to drum interest, get better deals, more teams involved etc to get more money for their clients. Football in this day and age is just a seedy business.

Why are we loaning him out again? Is this the idea behind signing Senesi on a free? Because I'd nearly prefer us give this kid a chance now. He looks ready!
I'm sure it was more of a quid pro quo. He wants to play with his drug cheat brother, knows that there's a lot of interest in him and has used that as leverage to stay there for a year in return to coming back here.
