Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Again, the club is trying to give transparency to what is happening and has happened. Isnt that what all of you wanted???

Let's give this new regime a chance. This rebuild on and off the field will be painful but the club has to go through it.

Now we have the right manager, the club is willing to break the wage structure and we are attempting to sign more experienced and proven players. Changes are happening!!
Talk is cheap!

A few world class additions and I’ll maybe believe they mean business.

After this season and especially after not investing in January, they’ve got a long way to go before they convince a lot of the fanbase.

I think I actually hate this cunt more than I’ve ever hated Levy. Yes, I know, shocking claim. I really mean it. Levy was foolish, controlling, and arrogant in many ways but he had a soul and a purpose. Vinai has absolutely nothing behind his words. He is a cockroach in human form willing to lie and throw everyone else under the bus to keep his lofty role. He is scum to the core.

Going to have to give him a chance now. Let's see if they act on their words. At the end of the day he's just an employee of Enic and will be the scapegoat if it goes wrong. Lange is the one who needs to be fired as the recruitment has been terrible.

Is it transparency or is it pure bullshit. That is the bit we all have to decide for ourselves. Personally, I'm very confident I know what it is.

They are trying to patronise the fanbase by giving the illusion of a club that "understands" and is "trying to fix the problems" without willing to admit they are the biggest part of it.
At the head of it, a gooner who is in self-preservation mode, whose #1 priority is his career.

Either that, or of course you can't rule out that they are just completely fucking clueless and have no ill-intent other than their awareness that they are making a mess of everything, hence the finger pointing

I went into this video with an open mind
Firstly, they're very appropriately dressed in black.
Vinai blatantly failed to answer any question that implied he's failed to get it right so far (eg not strengthening the attack last Jan), preferring instead to commit to getting it right during this Summer's transfer window - he'd better bloody come up with the goods then (although he's already putting the responsibility onto De Zerbi, just in case it goes belly up).
"What comes next that's tangible, that fans can see & experience?" - He had no bloody answer!!! Just bluff & bluster.

I'm sorry, but that was more than disappointing - it was upsetting. Yes, he did the old Starmer "I get it" routine, but NOTHING that he can be held to account for. Cynically vague.

If you watch it, prepare to be upset. If it doesn't upset you, please tell me what I missed.

I decided to watch it.
I came away realising that he is a bigger cunt than I thought he was.
A load of word salad to make us think they have a plan when all they are doing is rearranging the deck chairs.
Football is simple. Buy the best players, pay the highest wages and who knows, you might win silverware on a regular basis.

Excellent surmise of what is happening. I tend to think we are witnessing a mix of both of your conclusions.

I must really hate myself. I watched that video.

To be honest, I'm not sure if I hate myself FOR watching the video, or simply because I'm a masochist.

Either way, I feel worse about myself for watching it.
Yes, I immediately felt dirty and in need of a shower whilst listening to The Crying Game

disgusted the league GIF

I hate him but Levy was in a league of his own

Goblin fuck

Oh come on Levy was never transparent like this.
Again, I point to this article, referencing an end of season statement in which he says he takes full accountability. Also, the cringe interview that they did he talked about how they have to build on from the stadium now etc.

People fawning over a set up interview, with prepared questions, after a year in which the incompetence was off the chart, are utterly naiive at best. I didn't find anything to be 'transparent', he just shifts blame on 'the last 5 years'.

It didn't take an internal review to see that football was secondary, we've known this for the past 10 years at least. I find the whole thing to be more PR deflection. His rsposne to the January window, was straight up, bollox. No, experience isn't what we lacked, we have lots of experience in the forward positions, that's not even up for debate. We had no quality, and that isn't addressed.

He can’t dunk on the current players directly though. Some of them we are trying to sell, others will have allies on the dressing room.

There was a distinct lack of quality available in January. Semenyo was one option but of course he joined City.

Clubs don't want to sell their best players in January
