His ability on the ball, his size, his passing ability, dribbling ability, work rate, he can finish. He's got all the tools
He hasn't proved any of it at top level though, not once, was in bundesliga 3 the season before last, and hes 25 next season. I liked him at stuttgart for the the one season he had. but for 75m and been playing in a decent Newcastle side. Hes done nothing to suggest he's anywhere near world class

Barcelona???????? Thought he was going Bayern

And where did Barcelona find this sort of cash

I think they had it all along- but have been prevented from using it by FFP or whatever the equivalent is continent-side.

They were apparently paying Lewy 30+ million a season, so, a lot of wages have freed up.

I can see Newcastle not dragging it out like the Isak thing again- it really seemed to fuck with the start of their season.

Whatever. He’s better than Davies and allows Souza to go on loan. Still uninspiring though

He took to the league like a duck to water, in a Newcastle side that absolutely hasn't been decent this season and has been very dysfunctional. He's one of few that can actually hold their heads high after that season for them.
RDZ likes forwards that can drop back and link up play, there aren't many better in the league at doing that. He has that Berabtov about him, minus the best first touch in football, and he's miles clear of an upgrade to anything we have here.

If we have even the slightest chance of getting Baleba he should be by far our biggest target.

The drive, energy and tenacity he'd bring would singlehandedly take this team out of it's current coma.

Would be a hugely significant signing, one which impacts the dynamic of the team that much literally any fee would practically be worth it.
