I don't think De Zerbi prefers targetman strikers. He preferred Solanke over Richarlison who might not be a traditional targetman but is still more direct than Solanke. So I don't think he'd get much game time.

Although if we sell Richarlison we need to replace him and get a striker who can complement Solanke's game by being more direct.

De Zerbi has had all kinds of strikers, I think he just wants someone who works hard and helps the team.

The constant line from the club this week was that the squad was short of experience and leadership and robustness. That tells me they are gonna prioritise PL-experienced men over starlets this summer

i though first that liam delap played amazingly under him but i confused him with Evan Ferguson
i still would love to see how lankshear would play under de zerbi but also think could be a good option Evan Ferguson

It's a possibility, but I doubt it, particularly if the agents have anything about them. Insert a relegation clause, just in case, and they're covered.

After the light slap on the wrist with a lettuce leaf that Chelsea got, I very much doubt that City will be too worried about relegation. The PL is corrupt, they'll not do anything that potentially damages their brand, not when they can milk a bit of 'walking around money' from City.

Chelsea is a club that slowly kills players. Palmer slowly becoming a ghost of himself. However it’s too risky IMO as it’s hard to tell if it’s Chelsea 100% fucking the player up or the player or both.
