They really build the structure behind the club operation in great order and success. Of course they have the money to do it, and many clubs could have the money to do it, but NOT many clubs do it that well.

Vinai scum said he wanted every aspect of our club to be run by experts. He has to look at Citeh and PSG and not just BS. Is he even willing to spend to on these experts? Look at the staff behind the bench of Citeh and PSG at every game. Countless different technical staff on various components of the game assessing the squad and game in real time. Just our medical department alone is a disgrace when Xavi was injured.
Tbf both City and PSG were initially very stupidly run organizations, wasting a ton of money.

But they cared about playing attractive, admired football, and learned how to use their money to build a club in service of that.

You're right, it's something we should learn from.

How the fuck do we nearly get relegated and still end the season on a happier note than them?

Becuase football isn’t rational.

It’s all passion. We lived in the pit of doom about to be relegated but by De Zerbi magic survived and sent West Ham down.

Woolwich had the easiest fixtures in CL history of any team ever and didn’t take the chance.

We survived and they failed to take a golden opportunity. Massive relief vs massive disappointment.

It's brilliant.

Last season we're 17th but win the Europa and get a wonderful parade while they win nothing. Season before we finish 5th and cost them the title, and before that we're 8th and they still fuck up the title at the end.

We're shit and still end up laughing.

Weren't city starting a bit slow building for long term success waiting for Pep to arrive?
The whole Pellegrini era was that period, yeah. Dunno about building slow, and of course that was the period they were knowingly defrauding the financial rules, but they knew they wanted to be something different.

That was several years into the UAE ownership though. It had been much more Chelsea-esque to that point.

Lads.
I’m in a genuine fight.
Steady on

Tricking Robinho into thinking they're man utd is the greatest transfer trick in history.
