Were not gonna sign another LCB or LB with Senesi and Robertson coming in.

Might as well add Savinho as an attacker too, as he seems to be out no. 1 target.

According to Napoli Network, Tottenham Hotspur are close to signing Napoli midfielder Antonio Vergara to bolster their midfield.
Vergara, who has been described as 'dangerous', made 19 appearances for the Serie A giants this season, scoring three goals and registering two assists, as the club earned qualification to the Champions League once again.

I wonder what they mean with "dangerous". Is he a violent person or...? If that's the case, he'd fit right in to life London, particularly around the Tottenham area.
I guess Lange and Vinay thought they may be able to stiffen up the midfield with Vergara
And since he'd already an cruciate ligament tear that kept him out ofr 221 days back in 2023-24 and Partial tear of the plantar fascia that kept him out for 60 days in 2026 he fit right in with the medics' ...

However, since Spurs wanna fill up their stadium schedule with concert, it may be the musician Antonio Vergara they want to sign.
When I googled him it said:
Antonio Vergara is one of the most distinguished and influential voices in contemporary blues and sound arts in the Ibero-American world

Why are we being linked with this guy? He's played 16 games in the Serie A and CL this season - only 10 in the starting XI. He's scored 2 goals and made 3 assists.

On top of that, he comes from a defensive Antonio Conte system (which Kevin De Bruyne has criticized quite heavily today). That's not the football we want to play, so what would a player like that bring to our squad? I'd rather keep Pape and Bergvall.

haven't followed him closely. but is he a bit overhyped or worth going after?

Feel like he’s the type to have a 4 goal in 5 match purple patch and then play like shit all winter vs the Brentfords and Palaces of the league.

Don’t get me wrong, he has real match winning quality and some world class performances and would be our best attacker talent wise by a mile. But I don’t see him standing up to the week in week out grind of PL football and getting us thru the rough patches. Feels like a powder keg with him and De Zerbi aswell. Doubt he’s one for us but we’ll see… if he did work out he’d transform our attack.
