Ten times the footballer Solanke or Richy are, that's a great idea if City will sell.
The problem is going to be salary even if City will sell and we can agree on a fee. City gave him something like 1000% pay rise and made him one of the top five earners in the Premier league. We can’t afford them without smashing our pay structure and I would bet that city aren’t prepared to subsidize his wages by 150 grand a week.

no genuine Q? wasn't aware you don't rate him.

he was our second highest assister and stop playing on Jan 4? he's our only player that can take on a man, scored a few goals

I rate him highly.
Takes too much out of the ball, doesn't pass when he should, slows the game down to beat a man, which gives the defence an opportunity to reset. He's a great footballer, but he constantly does stupid things.

Yep, the wages are the thing that’ll stop that deal going forward if he isn’t willing to take a wage cut.
Atletico are probably the only one’s interested that’ll pay that. I don’t think even Villa would give him 300k a week.

I’ve never understood why City went in two-footed to give a guy 300k a week when he was probably on 50k max at Frankfurt. I doubt he’d have taken much convincing the join City in the first place. 100k a week would’ve probably more than sealed the deal.

I don't get all the hype over the Vuskovic situation. Ok, he wants to stay in Germany and play with his brother, but at the end of the day he is contracted to Spurs and is much more suited to RDZ football than Danso. He was one of the top CH in the Bundesliga this season, so maybe now is the time to start integrating him into our first team. At the end of the day the premier league is the Mecca for most footballers, so no reason he throws toys out of the pram.
Vdv, Senesi, Danso and Vuskovic is a good start, possibly add one more if Romero sold, with the option of vdv at left back if necessary.

I am more concerned with our full back options. Porro finished the season well but for the most part is better going forward than he is at defending, having had a torrid time under Frank and Tudor, hopefully if he stays RDZ can improve his game, but I wouldn't be against a change if replaced with a more solid defender, with Spence as backup. Udogie is injured more than he plays and Andy Robertson is at the wrong end of his career, is Souza ready for the Premier league.

We also need to be aiming big with our up front targets, we have seen enough of mediocre players like Solanke, Richy, Solomon, Muani and Scarlett over the past two yrs, we now need real quality to replace what we lost in Kane & Son. The big issue here is do we trust does employed to find the right replacements to do their job, hard to have any belief in them looking at past endeavours.
Need a fair bit of business done B4 WC starts, it ain't going to be easy but they openly stated they were waiting for the summer to do their business so time to put their money where their mouth is, no more excuses, two seasons finishing seventeenth is more than enough.

Calling Leao lazy in itself is a lazy take. Hes not anywhere near as lazy as people make out. It’s the old Berbatov take. He’s effortless so looks like he’s not doing much.

Anyways. His downfall this year was they played 3-5-2 which pretty much made him redundant. They tried him in the front two, but that’s not his game.

And if PaulO’Keefe is ruling it out, probably means we’re in for him. 😂

Lampard ain't the one to blame for Yang's loan to Cov, but okay...
Lampard is probably more culpable than anyone else.
I’ve no doubt that promises were made.

If memory serves, Coventry brought in another winger in the window AFTER Yang was signed. I’m pretty certain that wasn’t disclosed to Spurs.

I know that you like to blame the club for everything and, maybe, this move was over-ambitious given Yang’s first half season situation but let’s not give Coventry a pass.
