What The Hell Wtf GIF

At least say what you don’t agree with, numb nuts.

Most Pool fans say he's still playing at a pretty high level, hasn't lost his legs and are sad to see him go. Will take that over Spurs fans that have seen far less of him.

Not an exciting signing by any means but will be a solid rotation option with Udogie and adds some desperately needed character and experience to the side.

I actually reckon he'll end up being a fan favourite. He's a nasty bastard, gives his everything and we'll have someone crossing competently from LB for the first time in years.

Because he's adored there and they'll obviously never say a bad word about him. Ask Scotland fans what they think of Robertson and his performances.

if you haven't seen that he's well past his best and can no longer get up and down then you must be pushing retarded. He lost his place to Kerkez who has been dog shit.
Im well aware his legs aren't what they were 5 years ago, that doesnt mean hes a shit signing, especially when our current LB is Udogie.
Never mind pushing retarded, you think you'd make an impact in the changing room HAHAHA. :skippwtf2:

He's finished at any sort of decent level. So I'd say it's a pretty shit signing. I'd understand it if our team and squad was full of kids but that isn't the case.

It's only because many prefer him still over Kerkez, who has been utter gash. Liverpool fans (from what I saw) were all saying he was finished when they knew they were signing the Hungarian.
Well let's see. I don't think anyone is expecting him to be absolutely top class anyway. He's essentially a depth/rotation signing and won't be starting every game.

I think Robertson at 80% of his powers is probably still better than what we've often had at LB for the past few years, regardless.

I don't think it's an exciting signing, and in an ideal world we just sign a top class peak age LB, but I also think it's far from the disaster that you're making it out to be.

I never said it was a disaster. But it is an unispiring, sub standard potential signing on the surface. Regardless of what Liverpool fans do and don't say, every time I've seen him over the last year or two for his club and country with my own eyes he's generally looked rubbish, and nothing like the player he was. If he is only backup and his personality and character can make any sort of difference around the place then fair fucks.

Fair enough. Well hopefully he's decent enough and not just an expensive albatross. You'd hope RDZ signed off on the deal and thinks he adds some value to the squad rather than it purely being some Lange Jan deal we'd pre-agreed or whatever.

Say what you want, but this is another typical Spurs signing. Either cheap older players who are no longer starters for their clubs, or young starlets who could potentially provide a good investment return in future but if they dont turn out good, their lower salaries would make it easier to sell them.

Haha, i mean... I am above average pessimistic about the board and their ability to make good decisions.

But in this topic I feel like I am a total happy clapper. And I cannot help to ask myself - what to some guys here expect?
Basically if you do not sign Hakimi, then it is not acceptable (uninspiring, poor signing, legs gone... etcetc). My gosh...

I feel like this is the exact James Milner kind of signing. The kind we should have done MUCH more over past 10 years.
Last one like this was Perisic - which started out very well. Though unfortunate injury (story of our life recently) ruined the deal.

Yet people still moan non stop.
Like the window would have been already closed and Robertson would have been the only addition.

Agreed. It's a good signing. Perisic was immense. Palhinha is almost in that bucket too. Player of the season.
