The problem we have with this thought process is that we can do it with any player.Yeah, and still our top assister with (by a distance) most chances created despite missing half the season. Kudus has his issues but I'd like to see what De Zerbi can do with him - he's only played under turds like Frank, Moyes and Lopetegui in the PL. Never seen him playing under an attacking coach.
Well, Vicario wasn’t great under Frank, but he’ll be so much better under a proper manager. Now just replace Vicario with any other player. And suddenly, we’re into next season with the same perma-injured, low confidence, soft as shite squad again, where well once again struggle.
I personally really rate Baleba and would love for it to happen, even moreso now.
