Savinho will significantly improve us simply because we don’t even have a winger right now. Tel is more a second striker who can sort of play wide, Kudus and Odobert are injured and Moore is a 10/wide forward more than an out and out winger.
Low hanging fruit. Our defence is hard to improve as most players are 7/10 or 8/10 so you get less bang for your buck. Our attack is easy to improve as the players are either worse or not suitable for the role. So even though Savinho is a bit hit and miss just by being on the pitch he will instantly improve the balance of the team and that is massive in terms of constructing attacking phases. Savinho and Kudus on either side means opposition having to double up and go wide creating more space for players centrally.
We obviously need to get good quality players in attack and I think Savinho just about fits that. Kulusevski situation is unclear but having Savinho, Kudus, Maddison, Simons, Odobert, Moore, Tel for next season with De Zerbi coaching them all should give us a lot more than what we had this season.
