Could only fit 5 players on there but there's no stat for distance covered unfortunately.

Anderson really is a bit special now, isnt he?

I dont think Wharton comes out of that great

Hackney really does look good, although caveat it is the Champo...

Almost no club turns over nine players in a window. To do so at the top end of the PL (which is where we’re aiming) will cost £400m Most clubs that do it are promoted clubs that spend less than half that — Sunderland spent about £170m — and might get lucky on a couple of signings or else they are Burnley.
Liverpool did it last summer

Chelsea do 9 players most summers

Romero, Vicario, Sarr/Bentancur generate about 100m of that. Another 10m of that from Dragusin

Then were talking about the aggression Liverpool showed in the market last year. ENIC have the resources to do the same if they mean the PR guff they just put out after finishing 17th
You’re talking about an ownership that have never invested that heavily before and probably wouldn’t be able to all at once anyway due to the restrictive banking covenants, before you even get into the logistics of trying to tie up that many deals in a relatively short time period.

I know this guys is a BS merchant. Its obvious, see' s "Vlahovic and Juve fall out" and instantly has info? Come on...

...but

We all know this loser is out there scouring for any possible lead/link/story going, so I wouldnt be surprised if there was a little something behind some of these

Its basically a twitter version of newsnow

Surely if we have 0 RWs it makes sense to get one on a free + splash out on another?

Wilson would not be enough on his own. We literally have no one else.

Question is if we could get through half the season with just a star RE like Akliouche and hope Kudus is back to play bits and pieces as he works his way back to his best

Following that logic, Savinho makes loads of sense because he’s left footed but able to play both wings. There’s games where we could start with Tel on the left and Savinho on the right and win. Then against the best teams we’d have Savinho left with Akliouche right

So assuming Kulu, Kudus, Simons, Odobert basically do not contribute next season (or do not reach peak fitness) we currently look like:

CF: Solanke, Richy, Lankshear
LW: Tel, Moore
RW: -
CAM: Maddison, Gallagher

There's a lot of work to do.

In: Savinho (50m), Akliouche (60m), Wilson (Free). Parrott (17m)
Total: 127m

CF: Solanke, Parrott, Lankshear
LW: Savinho, Tel, (Moore)
RW: Akliouche, Wilson, (Moore)
CAM: Maddison, Gallagher, (Moore)

This is something I could see the club rolling with.
Now a serious club would drop another 80m on a new starting CF but we know that's not happening.
This looks OK, but I’d swap Parrott for Jonathan David. He’s leaving Juventus and it hasn’t worked well there, and he’s awesome. He’s a hard worker, and scores goals. The price will be very similar if that £17m is accurate because apparently Juventus wants €25-30m for him. I guess it’s an extra few million, but honestly who cares at that point.

That covenant stuff is an urban myth that Simon Jordan plucked out of his arse to sound clever on TalkSport

Liverpool did it last summer
And they fell off a cliff and sacked their manager.

Chelsea do 9 players most summers
They don’t.
They mostly sell peripheral players who will never or barely play for them like Bashir Humphreys,
Last year was massive turnover with big names leaving. Guess what? They failed down too.

You do realize that there’s no room to fail when you finish 17th?

We're very bad at scoring goals, we scored more than 2 goals just the twice in 38 league games I think and one of those was against 10 man west ham.

We should be funnelling what funds we have into attack and high quality technical midfielders

Was keen on him when linked before, seemed a really good fit for us

Then forgot he existed :franklol:

Were things that bad at Juve?
