Hackney defensively is weak though, he'll need someone next to him who is defensively sound.
Just goes to show how difficult it is getting the balance right in that position, people think we can get an elite player there are mistaken, it's arguably the most important but the most difficult position to fill in football.
Also goes to show how good Anderson is and why City want him.
Its an interesting one.
Defensively "ok" can be absolutely fine, if the system/shape supports it
Just as, a couple of all rounders can do a decent enough job, vs an explicit AM/DM combo for example
But as it is, the balance is so fucked in our group, I just dont know what the real answers are
I cant help feeling the solution will be selling a Bergvall or Gray to allow for incomings to even out the midfield
(far from my preference, but there are going to be some uncomfortable compromises to make it all work imo)
