Austin, Vuskovic, Souza, Bergvall, Moore, Lankshear aswell to start season.

I think this squad which meets homegrown quota has good balance and still allow Kudus, Simons and Odobert to return to the squad after injury.

Re assess loans and sales in January if not getting game time.

Sadly I think Kulusevski is going to struggle at this level when he returns, which is why i would sign Kang-in Lee as his replacement.

Out: Vicario, Phillips, Romero,Dragusin, Davies, Bissouma, Sarr, Palhinha, Scarlet, Richarlison, Muani

Locatelli is maybe a tad unrealistic in which case maybe Palhinha stays around as the other experienced midfielder even if they are different type of players.

No "top side" can guarantee Tel playing time. If he wants to kick up a fuss to get a move to Lille or something then feel free.

Otherwise shut up and accept your squad role and try to develop yourself into a starter over the next 2 years.

He could get minutes at a top side in France.

Saw Bournemouth mentioned. If that’s true then maybe they see him as the Kroupi Jr replacement

Personally I doubt any of it is true and he will be here next season

Weird fanbase.

A few short weeks ago, when the precipice was being toyed with, the doomsters already talking of free fall into oblivion, and the one-trick ponies trying to corral their less than merry band of 3 dissenting voices, we wanted to sell the whole squad, their children and any descendants, thereafter.

Now, having finished a mighty 17th for the 2nd season running, there are masses beginning to gather on the corners calling for a halt to the talk of sales.

Fcuk me.
It happened the moment the final whistle blew. I thought it was just good vibration hormones. But fuck me its like the last two years didnt happen everyone is back to world class and potentially world class its laughable. If we sold over half of the squad Id not blink

Unfortunately, it's this kind of fan that is the main reason we're so disliked.
The level of entitlement to dismiss players who are better than what we have takes some doing.

Could well be right but he doesn't look to be good enough to be a starter in PL so if we sell him now to a club he will start for and include a buyback clause in it then if he does progress we have the option to buy him back.
It's a win win, can't keep him around to get 10 mins here or there and a start in league cup games. That does him and us no favours.
Or we could just loan him again?

How are they even comparable though?

Jackson has 19 G/A in 35 and 15 G/A in 30 in the prem

Savinho on the other hand has 11 G/A n 29 and 3 G/A in 24

Can't even call Savinho a one season wonder, maybe a one season meh'der
Did Jackson really put up those numbers?
Wow, I take back my previous comment because I really didn't realise he was that productive, every time I saw him he looked atrocious!

I would agree it could be too much to ask for Vuskovic to be in a team fighting for the title in England. We are so far away of that.
Been thinking how to sow this into the discussions.

If you look at our last 5 results, we got 10 points. We were on the floor before that, no win in months.

If you expand that 2 points a game over a season, that gives 76 points, which would have been 2 behind City.

Is it unrealistic to hope DeZerbi might maintain that rate? Maybe even improve it with a better squad who are collectively confident and deeper embedded into a coherent structure/style?

Leicester surviving 2015 keeps nudging my memories, maybe a bridge too far, but maybe we emerge a completely different animal next season.

My lasting memory of Jackson was in the infamous 1-4 loss to them.
He should have scored 5+ goals that night.
He got a hat trick, but the first was on 75 minutes and the other 2 were 94 & 97 minutes.
He was through on goal and had so many chances. He could have broken the league record for goals in a game if he was clinical.

Now imagine he’s got older and more clinical…

Tbh I think Savinho and Jackson could both go up a couple of levels if we signed them

The thing is it's a pointless comparison anyway because we have more options on the LW market than the striker market, at least with wingers you can legit look at 4/5 more players who are just straight up better than Savinho who we could attract, with the strikers you can't say the same as everyone is a much of a muchness.
