Management New Manager?

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

This appointment matters MORE than any other previously as we have never had a more talented/expensive squad underperform to such a degree. In the past we have performed to best of ability or just been plain shit, this is the time when the manager is more important than any signing this summer

Agreed. It is absolutely essential the board get this one right given the investment already made and given where ENIC are trying to go in the (hopefully) not-so-distant future with the plans for the stadium.

The seasons we got fourth, there is no way we had the fourth best squad.

Fuck off if you're going to write off a season before we even have a manager, let alone conduct any transfers and see what other clubs are doing.

We've got some quality players. Some not so great ones too of course, so yeah, let's not bother getting a decent manager. No point.

Every time I see Ancelottis name a gallon of blood dissapates from my body into my pants. Not saying that it's likely, I do the same when I hear Holly Willoughbys name and understand my limitations. Ancelotti would be ridiculous though, stranger things have happened, football is surprising cliché:adegrin:

Maybe it was all part of the 'special relationship' from the beginning, and this is the final piece in the deal?!!!

Am I the only one who would still prefer one of the two younger managers to come in and build a project with us, rather than Ancelotti who may stabilize the ship but after maybe three years we find ourselves right back in this same position on the search?

Apparently Levy is set to kickstart his managerial persuit -after- the CL final. Ancelotti if RM lose?

Yeah ancelloti actually said, hey if I lose the final, I'll be on the phone to Daniel, I dont like the millions in the kitty, the CL finals, the trophies, working with Ronaldo, I want Tottenham Hotspur

We have a choice of ONE manager, it always was, Benitez and this guy were and wont EVER be a target, I hope Levy knows this, I dont understand why its taken this long for De Boer, he should have been installed within a week of them lifting the title

As the bloke below stated was referring to if Ancelotti were to be sacked, stranger things have happened, after setting a transfer world record and spending all that money only for one trophy in their season? Clearly a trophys still a trophy but i cant imagine the boys upstairs would be too forgiving. Of course thats just my view

You realise he's referring to Ancelotti getting sacked?

Yeah I know Chelmsford Spurs Chelmsford Spurs is, but with Carlo's cv very much like Van Gaal, spurs is the poison chalice you really don't want, dealing with levy and a "nice tight ship" project is not how they want to operate at their age - would be incredible I agree and have always respected ancelloti, and strange things do happen.... But TO us not FOR us sadly, Jurgen signing was the last strange thing in our favour!

If Ancelotti were available you take him. Arguably the best manager in world football. Not saying it's pheasable though. Id love for us to have a manager long term as much as any other fan but realistically im doubtful we can achieve that under Levy.

Just to be a pedantic cunt, I actually view Eriksen as such. Was very, very surprised we managed to bag him.

I can honestly say I would not over our other two candidates. I certainly wouldn't be disappointed with the hire, but I don't advocate him over the other two.
