Week or two, most likely. Doesn't seem like one of the players to 'play on', especially when his family, the funeral, his dad etc are all in another country.

Couldn't have come at a worse time, for him or the club. 4 games in 10 days and you lose one of your best players, who will be mentally hampered for the rest of the season at least. Gutting all around.

I don't mind him either. I don't think there are many members with a genuine problem with him. But he loses the plot sometimes and refuses steadfastly to even consider he's the slightest bit wrong, which leads to arguments, which leads to him point scoring, which leads to him binning.

On Chadli, if he's out tomorrow, I don't think that's all that bad. Townsend against a League 1 side should be in his element and have a decent game. Fingers crossed.

What exactly did Sammy say? Guessing it had something to do with him saying something bad about Chadli in relation to his father's passing?

Still a very valid point. Fan opinion of Ade is reduced after everyone of these visits home. It's very obvious that the last few years on Ade have been very difficult and yet still he's viewed as a menace by fans. I've always felt Ade was and is one of our most talented strikers but terribly inconsistent Still mobile and still a good striker

I think "profile" is an infelicitous turn of phrase here and "Bedouin" is straight-up wrong?

"Bentaleb" is an Arabic last name (means "son of Talib" or "son of the student") to be sure, but to go from there to "Bedouin", especially considering the tricky nature of Arab/Berber relations in Algerian history, is a big leap.

Or who knows. Anyway, here's Nabil praying with the lads (at least I think that's him on the far right in the final scenes.)

No he didnt say anything bad about him, what he basically said that if it was Adebayor going off to visit his family due to a bereavement people would be calling him a cunt, but because its Chadli it gets the polar opposite reaction.

Spot on I thought.

Going home because of a mother's hex is a bit different to going home because your Dad died.

What about posting a picture glorifying a gooner legend and showcasing himself in a gooner kit WHILST a Spurs player. But yea, Ade is so hard done by us.

What a crock of shit. Ade is an arsehole who cares very little about this club and their fans.

So how do you explain the shit he got when his brother died. As for this thing about a hex, this is, again, you doing a 2+2=5 routine. The club sanctioned him returning home. Do you think they would have done if he had rocked up and said "I need to go sort the voodoo out"? I think you're molding the rumours and comments to match what you want to be the facts.

What about the time when he spent a day cunting off every gooner twat on Twitter that gave him shit? He was with us then. But that gets forgotten. We may not like Henry, but the fact is that he was one of the best strikers in the world when he was at the top of his game and Adebayor played alongside him at that time. It's not as much about him being a gooner as it is about him being an ex-colleague, even if the picture was ill judged...and really, are you honestly making the argument that posting such a picture is a crime worthy of us removing our compassion or the benefit of the doubt?
