It's sammy you're talking about, right? I'm afraid he's just one of those folks who just can't bring themselves to let go or concede. He won't change. It's part of who he is. It's in his nature.
I find now that it's easier to not engage at length, but rather state an opinion, whether it's an agreement or disagreement, and then walk away. It keeps the peace. Sammy has some interesting contributions to make so if the "sammy vs the world" shit can be managed then he's got something to offer the board IMO.

I think us lot that have been around a while now know to not bother with him. There needs to be a warning message when signing up "Please be aware the user SammySpurs will wind you up at some point and its in the interest of all members to just ignore him and let him think he's won"
