Ex-Spurs Player Christian Eriksen

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Dont rate Eriksen?

As in, he's inconsistent, is class 50% of the games he plays and has the potential to be world class and is suffering from being played out of position?

Ok then......

...and my opinion hasnt changed because he destroyed a League One side.
You're not watching closely enough in my opinion. He fucking runs all over the place, and takes a mean free kick. What's not to like in our current set up? No one else can do this.

Anyway we're going to beat the Chavs at Wembley - what could be better? (leave me alone, I feel vulnerable)

And in my opinion, he doesnt play this way consistently enough yet.

No player is above critique in my opinion. Makes no sense. Kane was wasteful last night.....should I pretend he wasnt because he´s good and I like him?

No, of course not, but at the risk of bringing up the live v TV thing again - Eriksen does scrub up well when you see him live. Loads of stuff TV doesn't show. Don't call me CJJ. He has the skills, and puts in the effort for me anyway.

Very hard to find a forward who isn't wasteful. Can't be perfect.

Exactly my point.

Eriksen isnt perfect either yet, and I dont see the problem in pointing it out...he is one of our most important players and has the potential to be better than Modric, because he will score 10-15 goals a season where Modric scored 1-2.

Im really not the type to have favourites that are immune to critique....all that means, is that in games where those players are poor (Eriksen and Chadli against Palace for example), people start scapegoating others instead, like Stambouli. Yes, he made a silly challenge in that game, but he played very well otherwise.

Chadli and Eriksen were let off on the basis that they are usually good. Pointless.

Oh here we go....the neg rep wands are out already...

"Ooooooh he said Kane was wasteful.......5 or 6 shots on target and no goals, he didnt waste a single shot!!!! He hates Kane!!!!!!!"

:bentley:

:avbfacepalm:

AberdeenYid AberdeenYid the guy came on and got us to Wembley. Don't understand the negativity?
Since you tagged me twice, I'll respond. Just go and read my posts.

I said I thought he didn't work hard enough to be a winger. Stats were posted to prove me wrong. I posted I was wrong.

I said that accommodating him as a 10, meant we probably couldn't play Kane. Also that this meant us only playing one up front against wee teams, which I feel is too defensive. I've not seen anything to suggest that this isn't the case.

I also said that if we had a more traditional winger playing in a straight up 442, so two defensive midfielders, two touchline wingers and two strikers, we might not be chasing last minute winners all the time. Again, subjective.

I've not called him shite or a cunt. I've debated if playing him is the best for the team as a whole. I presently believe it is due to his recent performances.

May I be excused from the fucking interrogation now please?
