we are running out of realistic targets levy will pay a fair price for.
i am just building u up for the deadline day bargin basement swoops.

Like a battered spouse I am hoping this time will be different. Dan won't let us down again. He bought flowers (Wimmer) and chocolates (Toby) and brought home a lovely brochure of the show home from that proposed development up the road. He even promised to take out the bins (Ade) and finally scrap that old car on bricks in the drive (Bobby). Things will be better this time ..........

Love it.

Can someone tell me what the fuck Jordan Veretout is?

It says he's a defensive midfielder who can also play as a central midfielder and an attacking midfielder. The fuck.

He also has 7 goals and 7 assists. Basically, is he an 'attacker or defender'?

Yes. He is both.

From what I have read, he is normally a CM playing in the double pivot. His team lost an attacker and could not replace. So Veretout moved from DM to Attacking Mid and goal scorer. He has skill and character, very versatile, but needs to develop.

That Afobe is class, so clinical and composed in front of goal, scores loads of different goals also, him and Alli linked up very nicely in the opening half of last season also. Not to mention he was one of the top scores in England, could be a solid buy.
very impressive scoring record. & if he does well it would really annoy Woolwich as they let him go.

it would go like this:

"Ok We accept the £45m bid,"

DL ,"£45m you're 'avin a larf I said £4 to £5m, oh and Adebayor"

"it's a good deal, come on, let's do it"

Hi guys

New to the forum!

On topic: If the rumours are true, why are we splashing £25m on Berahino? I would love to see him in our squad, but hell, not for that kind of money... And he wouldn't be happy being on the bench either. Then I'd rather keep Soldado, who, by the way, is a Dortmund subject if you should believe the papers. Batshuayi would be exciting as well and I think we can get him a lot cheaper than Berahino.

Anyway, why is Yarmolenko not a target? According to his stats, he had an impressive season with Dynamo Kiev (14 goals and 14 assists in 26 matches - however, Transfermarkt's assist count is sometimes off). He really has a quick pair of feet. Considering his height, it's quite impressive!
Would love to see this guy on our right wing!

And just an extra question: Is there any news on Vertonghen signing a new contract? He's only got 1 year left.

It would just be plain cruel to keep Bobby here any longer. It just hasn't worked and best for all concerned if we move on.
