Enough of the excuses. We should have beaten this sorry excuse of a footballing team.

Everyone else has, and Woolwich only lost because they had a man wrongly sent off.

We were simply not good enough. Fault lies with Pochettino.

The fact he couldn't get Alli to realise he'd miss the Chelsea match was the first mistake.

Second, I appreciate the Europa, but he didn't need to take Kane and Eriksen to Azerbaijan. We could have won, and we would not have lost with our replacements.

Third, Son and Mason need to spend some time out of the team. Mason has been and was terrible since he got back. Son is getting better, but with Alli and Lamela in, I feel we could have nicked a goal and the floodgates would have opened. In the end playing Mason and not being able to control Alli, cost us the game.

Lastly, I have no idea why we keep hooving long balls up the field, or just heading or volleying balls as passes. For a while I thought I was watching basketball with the amount of time the ball was in the air. Most of the time, we lose possession or slow the damn game down by knocking air balls all over the pitch. What the fuckery was that? Infuriating "football". Chelsea were not there to play football either, so it was one of the worst games this season.

Early days yet, but Liverpool are surging. All this time longer and Pochettino might lose out to Klopp. Do Liverpool have a better attack than us? Drawing is fine and dandy but the more wins other teams pick up, we will fall way the fuck behind.

We need to win every single game from now till the new year. Not good enough to be drawing with any of those teams coming up.
Most boring multi account ever.

The tide has turned.. Chelsea came for a draw and that's what they got.. Every team fears us now end of story.
They started without a striker??? but they tried to counter in numbers and with pace, under AVB we would have been turned over for at least 5, but this new side dealt with any counter they offered and they soon realised that it was not going to work.
As we played thursday night in the arse end of the world then i'd say that a point was a decent achievement. Once again under AVB we would have been mullered.
This is such a great team with such a great set of players, we are hard to beat which makes the day that more enjoyable, a few years ago you just knew that we would cock up somewhere and would get hammered.
Nowadays it's a different proposition all together.
We now have a week break which is badly needed and we will come back strong against WBA.
It was a hard fought draw but our impressive unbeaten run continues.

These are wise words! Draw against Chelsea, Liverpool and those Woolwich cunts are not optimal, but in the end far better than anything we have achieved in years. And with the hammering of Man City and the pikeys, I think we are in a good position to do the best season in a long long time. Let's just not do our regular fuck-up after the christmas-period...

...they parked the bus and invited us to beat them - we would've won easily if Poch hadn't taken a bulk of the starters to that Tin Pot Tourney in East Who Gives a Fuck...

...btw - I especially enjoyed Lame-ela's triple stepover with nobody closing him...;)

Good result considering it wasnt a great performance
It was a good performance considering Thurs game and it was a good result. The Chaves recent little revival gave them some strenght. They knew we would tire and struggle a little so needed to keep us at arms lenght. Our past life we would have lost today and blamed EL. The Chaves are a decent outfit, with good players although struggling themselves a little. This was their 3rd clean sheet which reflects how they have decided to play to back on line.

Can't understand the negative views here. Poch took a big risk with the team selection at Carrier Bag. We won and came up against a chav side that set out not to lose. Take out Willian, who we found difficult to cope with, and we really had nothing to fear.
Yes we looked leggy in the second half, but they could not beat us. We won't have such a long trip again, and extended our unbeaten run.
Teams know that we are extremely difficult to beat, and cannot be bullied. There is every reason to be confident going forward. Poch wants to win every game and players want to play every game.
There is something stirring at the Lane. Believe.

Wrong on all counts-sorry
How many games have we won/lost after EL games this season compared to past seasons? There you will find the answer my friend, not blowing in the wind?

Was dreading this match as soon as I found out we were going to be in outer Mongolia the Thursday before...don't know what I was worried about...

Was a bit nervous about this game after our mid week excursion to the back of beyond and although a win would have been great I don't think a draw is that bad a result. Apart from citeh no-one else above us won so we haven't really lost any ground and December fixtures look favourable. Still along way to go but the signs are positive and team spirit seems excellent so whilst I don't want to get ahead of myself I'm feeling more optimistic than I have for a long time.

The potential we have is so high right now, and everything is going pretty well, but I can't help but fear that one lose and we are going to implode

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but I can't read all the comments. Ref was crap, not the best game, probably a draw was a fair result in the end. But it speaks volumes that we are deeply disappointed that we only got a point today.

Nonsense man. We're bound to lose sooner or later, but I get the very strong impression that when that does happen, this team will want to put that to bed as soon as possible, and not just with hollow words on the OS.

Where's sammyspurs sammyspurs when you need a good piss take?
:kaneear:

We are on a roll ladies & gentlemen. Long may it continue. Not the best performance/ match today but ffs it's mighty impressive after the long haul we had Thursday/Friday. This is the type of game we would have struggled with & lost in recent history-& against far lesser opposition than the current champions.

Poch has got his team playing for the shirt, no matter how tired they are. One shot on target in 90 minutes from the Chavs. That's a fucking great effort from our lads to shut them out almost entirely.
Am loving Poch's Spurs.
