thought Pav was average tbh-scored the odd cracker but not a very good footballer imo.
Got on the end of a few good balls at important times to his credit though.

when H picked him regularly he was on about a PL goal every 180 mins of playing time. A goal every other game? I think thats enough for anyone.

Got on the end of a few balls? Blimey, I remember him scoring goals from nowhere, that others would have hit row zed or the corner flag.

Also scored the crucial 2nd against Young Boys away in the CL qualifier which made the home leg so much easier. Absolute belter too.

The season we ended 5th H gave far more game time to Defoe and Crouch, who each ended up with about 5 all season. Big mistake imo.

He was weak and flakey, his hold up play and link up play was rubbish and he wasn't good enough imo-same could be said about any of our strikers at the time though.

His goal in the Moscow Derby was ridiculous. One of the most natural finishers we've had.
