You're wrong about Eriksen... he sees a lot the ball...maybe deeper than you would wish and in that respect he plays the role of 'facilitator'.
However given his refusal to tackle, commit to the 50/50, protect the ball why on earth would you think he would fair better in the role of 'creator'.
He may start wide Dane but he floats about the place up front and I've been impressed with the way he's been getting back to cover in defensive mode.
Leave him be I say.

Agreed with this. I don't see Eriksen on the ball any less than anyone else. He just tends to lose it a lot more then those around him. He isn't as good as he BELIEVES he is, I've said numerous times. He tries passes that his mind sees but is beyond his ability. He's a great player, no doubt about it but like you've said, his bottling out of tackles is never gonna fair well.
He's MUCH better on the left. Allowing for our full back to overlap him, drag the defender away and creep up somewhere else on the pitch to score. That's what he was doing in his first season for us which is still his best season to date.
Where do you get this idea from that he rates himself so highly? Because of a comment jokingly made about his dribbling in fifa? Guess Dier overrates himself, he's constantly making passes his mind sees but doesn't have the ability to execute
His attempt at passes that don't come off - you don't do that if you don't think you're a good player. Little tricks and flicks that nearly never come off, that you'd only do if you're confident of your own ability - he's Christian Eriksen, nothing more. A potentially great player that's found his level. In my view.
You're no doubt the king of knee-jerk reactions. Let me get this right, his problem is that he's confident in his own ability? Am I missing something here?
I don't deny he's in bad form, but really? Found his level? He's 23 on the back of 2 good seasons in the pl and you think he's found his level? It's not like he's been bad all season, is it? You write off players mid-game, get a grip of yourself
Hes confident of ability he doesn't possess. I think Tottenham is his level, yes. I imagine you'll disagree though considering he's probably the greatest footballer your country has produced for 20 years.

I'm looking forward to the day you develop the mental capacity to read and understand what I'm writing. My point is that Eriksen is starved in the pockets of space he finds, and is forced to seek further down the pitch to receive the ball
Also looking forward to more comical knee-jerk reactions of how players are useless and "having a stinker" after making a poor pass

Eriksen is still just 23. His inconsistency still has time to be ironed out. He is not in his prime yet. We've seen enough out of him at this point that I think it's entirely unfair to claim that he lacks ability. That is crazy talk. He's got ability. He just needs to figure out how to apply it with more consistency.

I can see English really isn't your first language. A shame that it's taken four seperate posts but I'll explain it in simpler terms just for you - He feels he is better than he actually he is. Now that's not to say he hasn't got ability because he has. He feels he has the ability to pull the strings, play a pass that no one else but Messi can and do flicks like Ronaldinho, neither which he can do because he doesn't possess their ability. It's frustrating, if Eriksen just played simple football, stopped being a pussy and ducking out of challenges, he'd be some player. Don't think he'll ever get to that 'some player' stage, but hey I'm here if he can prove me wrong. Like someones mentioned before, he's 23 and he has years to come in his career, just hope he can also sort out his diabolical set pieces that aren't his 1 in 10 that he scores.
Have you ever played football and you've tried to play a pass you know you can't do but you try it anyway? Or perhaps you try a volley from 20 yards even though you haven't got the technique? Yeah. That's that.
A very good analysis of what goes on in the head of Eriksen, thank you very much! I see your point, Eriksen should not attempt to play difficult passes to create chances/goals, but should just keep it simple. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't
