Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If we get top 4, there's no way he'd leave. He'll want to see what he can do, especially with it only being our 2nd time, it will be special.

I think even if we finished 5th he'd probably stay.

The set up with Poch and Levy running things seemsvery different from the previous mangers and players.l and teams of the past.

It not about an individual, it's about the whole team, back room staff included.... Poch has been key to this, would go against all he stands for if jumps ship and goes to United after a couple of seasins. He has staed he os here ona prject, so i dont see him leaving anytime soon, exspecially to a team of overpaid indivduals like United. It will take years to do what he has done with Spurs inyhe short time he has been here, he won't get the time either to instill his philosophy as soon as they draw a couple of games 0-0 the fans are baying for blood.

P.S I think I have a massive man crush on Poch now.

To be fair it's a good thing Poch is being linked with other clubs because it means he's doing well. If he wasn't being linked it would mean we're not having such a good season as he's not doing such a good job.

I can't see him leaving. I think he genuinely cares about us in a way no other manager has in a looooooooooong time. The squad clearly love him, gets on well with Mitchell and Levy and his son is in the academy. He'll build a legacy here I reckon.

I have little doubt that Poch is likely to leave at some point, but maybe not for a couple of years. He's still a relatively young manager and he's just starting to see the fruits of his labor, and unlikely to leave unless it is an ideal situation.

There's few other places that he can go at the moment that are truly a step up and where he will have the ability to so strongly set the direction of the club and be given the time and attention to see it through. Some day, he will feel it is time and will look for the next challenge, unless he can lead us to it, and he will take an opportunity if it suits him.

I just plan on enjoying every moment of this as long as it lasts.

I can only see him going to Bayern, Barca or Real. Bayern have Ancelotti waiting in the wings. Real have golden boy at the moment, but with Perez anything can happen. And Barca would not want to change a winning formula at the moment.

I dunno. I'm scared. If we finish around the top two, or God willing, win the league, they will be coming after Poch with everything they've got.

Honestly if we win the league I wouldn't mind if they decided to just disband the club and go out at the top. I don't think I could cope with another 50 years of being the 5th biggest club in the country after that.

But seriously, even if I take my blinkers off, if I'm Poch, I'm a wealthy man with a family settled. I've just qualified for the CL for the first time, am I walking away to a club that ISNT in the CL just so I can start rebuilding a team all over again? Doubt it. If he continues to be successful with us, I guess it will depend on when and whether he gets to a points here he feels he has taken us as far as he can. It's not like Pep taking over the biggest clubs in then prod and winning tournaments with them. Taking Spurs to the top table consistently Would- in my opinion- be even more impressive.

Having said that, 'legacy ' is nice, But everyone wants silverware.

He is undoubtedly ambitious and wants to be one of the best managers in the world.
The question is whether he can achieve that status at Tottenham, as opposed to a more moneyed club like Manchester City.
Jose M achieved great things at Porto with a limited budget so it can be done...but ultimately the richest clubs will always get the best managers.
My guess is he will stay at Spurs for at least another season, especially if they get Champs League. He may stay for two more seasons.

Dont want to be that guy, but he did leave Southampton for us...
He did, but under completely different circumstances. He had a great relationship with Nicola Cortese and when the in-house stuff changed after the death of Markus Leibherr -Cortese disagreeing with Katarina over certain issues, stuff changed.
He always said he would leave the club if Cortese did. He then did.
Poch: "I would not understand staying in this role if Nicola was not here. The person who actually called me from the start, told me about the project and put the faith in me was Nicola."
So, it's completely different.
Unless he has a complete breakdown with Levy, Levy is replaced, ENIC sell and the 'project' changes

I would say the Barca job would be the only job that would tempt him. Yet I doubt he would have the last word on transfers.
