We still technically still need the same results as before. Man Utd and Everton to both take points off them. Man Utd win and Everton draw with us beating Chelsea and Southampton would see us 2 points behind them going into the final day.

Just means we'd be relying on Chelsea winning or drawing and us defeating Newcastle to win the league. It's not over but the fact we are relying on a poor Man Utd team and also relying on the team doing something they haven't done in over 20 years and beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, we may as well just congratulate Leicester.

Right now, I wouldn't rely on Everton to hit the pavement if you dropped them from the 5th floor, personally!

If we lost our bottle last night I don't see us beating Chelsea. It is over now. Was a mountain before but now it's over even if not mathematically. Do you really see them dropping 7 points from 9??

Being competitive Im still up for it but my deflated heart says NO. We still have 2nd to play for. Winning at the Bridge and playing god with Newcastle.. Maybe a few players should come out and say they wantc Sunderland to go down - liven things up a little.

We still need to believe. The league might be the slimmest of possibilities, but if the team believe them we need to as well. 2nd has to be ours, we deserve it, we have had a heroic season and 2nd is an achievement in itself considering we were predicted to come 8th.

Chelsea away is always going to be a tough game, but our squad has proven we can win the big games.. City home and away, Utd at home. We will be just as up for it as they will. Let's not start looking down, only up.

To finish 2nd with the youngest team in the league, with a team that can only improve is an excellent achievement.

Really, we still need to win all, they need to lose an extra game. Possible ?

I hate Pulis with every atom of energy in my body - just wanted to get that off my chest.

If you're already accepting defeat before even trying then that's down to you.

If we don't win it, we don't win it. Leicester have proven it's no fluke, we can't hate on them for winning games. All we can do is play our football, finish as high as possible then focus on going one better next season.

"We want to see Sunderland go down. That Adam Johnson shit was a joke and now all of us players are 'aving to ID birds. I liked not IDing birds. :walkercry:"

The competitor in me will always play to the finish. Im not giving up just have less hope?

How comes there is a sudden rush of newbie Yids on here complaining about bottling it. FFS We've never been top, we're 2nd for the first time in about 53 years. It's not a bottle job we have really progressed as a club in the last 15 years. However our own fans are complaining about not winning a game.

Grow a pair and enjoy what is on offer at the moment. Let's regroup and go and smash some Chav cunts next week.

Always proud to be Spurs!

Let's ensure finishing in the CL group stage position in the league, the original top 4 target has more or less been achieved now. Did any of us expect a league challenge at the beginning of the season? It has been exciting and it will continue to be.

Part of me would like Poch to come out with a Fergie vs Keegan type rant about the lack of integrity of the league / teams not trying against Leicester.

It would be classless and against his character, but it kind of needs to be said - and there would be no way anyone could say it isn't true given Hazard and Fabregas' comments.

Problem is Pochettino maybe emotional behind closed doors. However he's always the consumate professional in front of the cameras. Just need others in the media 'love in' to question the integrity of the league and the behaviour of some the other teams and their players.

Yeah - not sure we have any ex-player close enough to the club with gravitas to pull it off.

This is where United / Liverpool / Scum excel.....they've each got half a dozen doing their bit in the media.

Yeh I am proud to be spurs too, always have been. The pressure did get to us when we should have won. Not critising the team but this kind of thing happens to us a lot when we are at crunch times in whatever we may be going for. To say because we have never been top or 2nd thats why we shouldn't be disappointed is wrong. Leicester and spurs position has been helped by the big boys falling flat this year. May not get this close again.

I hope we can finish 2nd. The 3 points also would have guaranteed us at least 4th but that's still a concern if we let this result get to us. Just hope poch can get em up for the last 3 games whatever the Leicester result
