I think Poch benefited from the history of the AVB / Adebayor situation - Levy had to back the manager the second time round as the opposite had proved a failure.

I hated AVB as a tactician , i hate his style of football and i think he's a bit whiny and always looking for external excuses for failure. I've seen Zenith play a few times and the boring boring AVB is still in there, very few goals conceded (what might be a welcomed change for EFC) and all depending on that one star player to score goals.
I think he's overrated and his views on football have been surpassed, he needs to learn the value of entertainment on the pitch as off the pitch he's really good at entertaining.

And if i remember correctly, Lukaku and AVB did not get along at all. So that might make his move away even more likely.
