Well we can't sell most of the squad unfortunately and in any case they were disinterested because of the shit coaches we hired and the club being an utter shitshow, thankfully now we have a proper coach now that the players respect.
Let’s just hope they don’t decide to down tools again, just because they don’t like the man that tells them to pass to their own players and maybe track a runner now and again.

Savinho will significantly improve us simply because we don’t even have a winger right now. Tel is more a second striker who can sort of play wide, Kudus and Odobert are injured and Moore is a 10/wide forward more than an out and out winger.

Low hanging fruit. Our defence is hard to improve as most players are 7/10 or 8/10 so you get less bang for your buck. Our attack is easy to improve as the players are either worse or not suitable for the role. So even though Savinho is a bit hit and miss just by being on the pitch he will instantly improve the balance of the team and that is massive in terms of constructing attacking phases. Savinho and Kudus on either side means opposition having to double up and go wide creating more space for players centrally.

We obviously need to get good quality players in attack and I think Savinho just about fits that. Kulusevski situation is unclear but having Savinho, Kudus, Maddison, Simons, Odobert, Moore, Tel for next season with De Zerbi coaching them all should give us a lot more than what we had this season.
We don't really have Simons or Odobert for next season though. That's why we need Savinho + two more.

I’ve never seen Hayden Hackney play, but he’s the kind of signing we’ve done well from in the past. Lower league, youngish, English players. They come in and do a job (Bale, Walker, Dele, Gray, etc), or they don’t and we still get money for them (Hudd, Routledge, KWP, etc).

I think we may need to go top quality foreign up front, but midfield and defence not so much, as there are bound to be players too good for the Championship that could do a job for us. We can always move on a home grown player if they don’t.

If we are looking for someone to pass the ball forward and play through balls then surely we should be looking at those areas across Europe who produce them by the bucketload. I bet we could pick up similar quality in Spain, Portugal, Eastern Europe for a quarter of the price. Would involve actual scouting though so we won’t.

I'm no longer a Baleba :mourshock: shocking numbers

What a monster Anderson is. Whichever team gets him is very very lucky

He dropped off alot after his united move didnt happen.
Roberto will know him well and what he is capable off. Also it will lower his price abit and make Brighton more happier to part ways.

We need a ball winner in there that can compete with the likes of caicedo, rice, rodri etc.

So hopefully Robertson, Senesi and Savinho will happen. That's a great start IMO.

I still think ENIC need to put their money where there mouth is and make a statement signing or two. I would love Wharton. Someone who would transform our midfield.
