A poor spell that should not be a surprise.

Toby is a massive loss, He seemed to be the catalyst for the best spurs defence of my lifetime. Hope the scans turn out positive for him. We had Real Madrid twice, Woolwich, Man U, and Liverpool in the space of 5 weeks, I knew we would have a slump after that. I'd be happy with top 6 and all out in the Champs this season.
 
I see nothing that 3 or 4 good January signings, the return from injury and suspension of our players and a returm to form stopping us from a place in the top 4.

It is a poor Premier League, aside City who in my opinion are being made to look better than they are.

The 5 English teams in the last 16 of the Champions League is indicative of money more than ability or sheer quality.

Can you imagine the best teams in the past not dealing with De Bruyne or nullifying Sterling and Sane? And for crying out loud Mangala, Delph and Otamendi not being breached with ease?

We are too easy to praise City because of their record. Always relative.

What I maintain is that our poor spell or season thus far (Premier League wise) shows how much expectation under Pochettino has risen (a good thing) but how hard it is to maintain without the right level of natutal investment and turnover.
