I get your response and hate to be some boring liberal about it, but honestly, your approach - simply dismissing criminals as no hopers and offering no chance of rehabilitation - is not the right way.
No doubt there are plenty of individuals who will never be changed, that's obvious. But there are plenty of people who do come to a new way of thinking and leave former habits/predilections behind.
It was not a concrete proposal, rather an outburst against the utter bollocks many psychologists spout.
They talk like they actually understand how the human brain functions. How can they possibly diagnose and treat people for illnesses they have no understanding of?

He's been stripped of it in the sense that it cannot be furthered now. It's possible that was the context in which the comment was made. It's irrelevant now though.
There's an issue over where you draw the line - which has to be somewhere. A kiss with someone 15 years 364 days is illegal; full sex with someone two days older is "fine".
6 years does seem excessive however it also appears that AJ was well aware of the illegal nature of his actions and clearly was abusing his position of "power" (i.e. being famous) for sexual gain, so I can understand the judge taking a strong stance - especially given the media pressure in this case.
I'm sure you are right, don't know AJ or the case in specifics.
Was just referring to the theoretical part of criminal law. Either way it's a Caveat Emptor world. Beware of your actions.
