Ajax v Feyenoord

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Hey guys,

Im going to be in Amsterdam for the upcoming Ajax v Feyenoord match. Not planned, but nice timing nonetheless. Anyone have any tips on where to watch the game and get involved in a bit of pre-game beers with atmosphere?

Thanks

Plenty of bars in central.. dam square etc. Touristy and therefore not cheap.

Coffeeshops aplenty.. not sure about the ground.. it's a little NorthEast of the main city centre

Spurs and Ajax will be out together. Small Spurs numbers heading out for this game and the game against Twente. The THFC x AFCA flag will should be out for both but if worse comes to worse will be on the F-Side for Twente.
Gutted I can't make it myself but planning to get over their for a game
by the end of the season.

Pubs wise I'm not much use but I've had a tip that the Bulldog Cafe does the best brownies.

excuse me for for lack of knowledge on the subject but how are spurs fans and ajax fans connected?

Ajax from an area formerly known as a Jewish part of town, like Spurs.

I went out there last year to watch Ajax v FC Twente - train from the centre to the stadium is only about 10-15 mins I think. We went the end of March and the weather was quite decent so everyone was drinking outside the stadium, I remember there being one bar there (there's some concert halls and sort of shopping complex in the same area) so imagine you could drink near the stadium for the pre game atmosphere then watch the game in there.

Sorry it's not the most detailed explanation, it's a bit of a blur :walker:
