I expect he will get those minutes as the season wears on, still only early days.
 
Can tell Ange rates him very highly when we're bringing him on late in a game when only 0-1 up away from home with 10 men.

Looks huge. Can't wait to see more of him.
 
can see his minutes increasing a lot after richys misses today. going to be interesting to see what he does with 25-30 mins of delivery.

going to call it now....his first goal will be assisted by a porro cross....or gil if hes out there with gil at the time.

Think he will get on the end of a Johnson pass, 82nd minute, can’t specify the game but the rest is nailed on.

he cant. but son comes off after 65-70 it seems every game as poste trying to manage his and maddisons minutes. i think hell be turning to veliz rather than richy to take over at 9 now.

i wouldnt even start son against the teams that sit deep. they are the teams you want to bring him on when you have a lead for last 20 when they open up. hell get more goals in them 20 minutes than he would starting for 65 and producing nothing and getting taken off.

Kukusevski has earned the right and has the stamina it appears to play full 90’s.

Think Veliz should come on, if ready for Son, Johnson should come on for Maddison, moving Kulu to Maddison’s role, Johnson wide RWF, Gil for Richarlison (I would from the start, but realistically hope) is the plan, at 60minutes.

Gil and Johnson seem to my mind a great mixture of technicals and speed, with a Tank in the middle to bang them in against tenderised opposition!

His physical interactions so far make it look like he belongs......... Thought he was gonna crown his cameo with a tasty turn and shoot right at the end today...... Handled himself in the box VERY well. Be nice to see him get his shot or two off in the coming games and see what we have on our hands.

Exciting though.

yea kulu moving central to cover maddison would make sense for sure. seems like gio is done here now.

i think gil could do a job centrally too.

Yeah, he already looks like he could be the real version of what we though Richy would be.

Throwing his weight around, winning headers and generally a hassle for the opposition defence.

Actual quality still TBD.
 
Glad he got on. Looked to be in the right places on the break and in the box. Was surprising and disappointing the senior players didn't do more to get him involved in the game (looking at you GLC).

I thought he could have pressed more, especially for someone only on the pitch for 15-20 minutes. He stopped chasing the ball a bit early for me. He's a kid though and will improve.

Why? Sonny was bad out wide on the left, replace Son with him.

I would like to see him get some time with our first team midfielders and create him some real chances.

Despite loving what I am seeing, I am concerned about the lack of creativity up front.

Son is scoring goals, but is very quiet a lot of the time, Kulu has zero assists and Richy is really isn't scoring or creating enough.

I really would like to see something like this at some point
