Player Alejo Veliz

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Lankshear, who is kinda similar in style, looks the far more promising player than Veliz imo. I think if we don't give him a chance in the next year or two that's a much better example of the club overlooking youth. I'd 100% be integrating him into the first team squad if we go down.

I reckon Lankshear and Solanke would be a decent pair of target men in the Champo. We'd at least be able to play a consistent style of attack/deliveries with them at ST. For me Lankshears love for the club is infectious- we need more of that type right now.

I think we've definitely been guilty of that in the past, but based on everything I've seen of Veliz he's simply not very good. Reckon we purely bought him cos he was an absolute physical unit for his age and we were gambling on him turning into a monster but the rest of his game never caught up and he was pretty terrible on loan at some quite big Spanish clubs.

In this case, the players we've played ahead of him are simply much better so I don't blame the club at all. And we did actually pay quite a bit for him (13m quid for a teenager) so it's not like he was some academy kid that we paid nothing for.

Well.. in context of strikers going through our books, we also have someone named Parrott that has 30 goals and 11 assists to his name this season for AZ Alkmaar. Yes-yes - I do know. Eredivise and all that.

BUT it is physically impossible that he would have been more useless than Kolo Muani. If he would have got 1382 minutes in EPL, I am sure he would have come up with more than 1 goal and 1 assist. AND we wouldn't have wasted absurd wages. AND we would have had one more HG player in the side.

Yeah I think we missed a trick keeping Parrott when Ange arrived - he's miles better than Veliz and we basically only had Rich as a number 9 going into that season. Naturally he got injured so Son played there loads and he's a bit shit up top. Could've been a potential breakout year for Parrott, and even he he'd flopped we'd have got more money for him as he'd then be seen as a "PL player"

Don't think we were ever going to re-sign Parrott last summer though so that ship sailed long ago. Although maybe he comes back if we go down? Apparently he's keen.

To be fair Muani has played about 85% of matches out wide.

I’m not trying to see Parrott out there either.

He's basically gone. Do we need to keep updating this one every time his club has a fixture?

The other loan updates are great but Veliz is barely even our player anymore and clearly has no future at the club.

The name of the thread is Veliz who is a Spurs player on loan. Until he signs for another club he is still our player.
Go check the Ange thread. He don't even work for us no more.
So I never post there but loads still do.
Alejo once again did not do 90, only 73 last night. FT 1-0.
