He didn’t but where is the Donley thread? - since he did make his well deserved debut last night. Congrats to the young man.

We need to start being more aggressive and smarter about getting our top academy lads out on loan. PL2 isn’t good enough so we really need to start getting our lads first team football at the right L1, Championship or overseas clubs.

Seems like a good showcase for them though, half a season playing that level and building confidence should see them able to get a better loan in January than they would've gotten in the summer.

I imagine if Donley were made available for loan in the upcoming window there'd be quite a decent selection of clubs looking to take him based on his performances in PL2.

Looks a unit. Think we need to get him a loan in January.

No point keeping him around for another half season. He's been around the team for more than a year now and the minutes just aren't there.

Na let’s keep him. We loan him we are only going to get an injury crisis where we need him. I love VDV and Romero but I really don’t trust their fitness.

He's ben out for about 7 or 8 months injured or taking some time to get back to form.

Last season without europe, Spurs only played once a week, so no injuries to cover ....

This season we may need him if Ange trusts him with too many CB's out injured - and he's List B so no issues of EL registration unlike any bought in defenders

Davies back before year end so he's already 4th choice before we consider Romero and VDV.

I doubt he plays another minute this season. I don't think we will be 5 nil up at HT very often to allow such a change.
