Im not one to gossip... but apparently he backed spurs to finish below woolwich. Twitter bollox though, that my bet.

You have to applaud the FA.
Many people accuse them of fence-sitting, but faced with really serious problems, this association really knows when and how to put their foot down.

Bollocks, you were!
Dammit... foiled by the famous Norse Sarcasm! :avbfacepalm:

Think it's more the fact that character speaks broken english, so he should also speak broken norwegian :holtbytongue:If you're making a joke based on the differences between english and norwegian grammar..then that's quite impressive. Otherwise, the correct sentence is "det er vitsen"![]()

rule book said:BETTING E8 (b)
A Participant shall not use, or provide to any other person any information relating to football which the Participant has by virtue of his or her position within the game and which is not publicly available for, or in relation to, betting.
Surely that happens every single time early team news is leaked?...
Thanks for the benefit of the doubt, but, I spent so much time making sure that I had the first part right that I forgot to double check the "joke" part.Think it's more the fact that character speaks broken english, so he should also speak broken norwegian :holtbytongue:
There was a professional gambler in Scotland that made a living off going to third division teams' grounds and asking them for the team news. Betting sites didn't realise that there was no "home" advantage in the Scottish lower leagues so often their odds were very skewed against the away team, even if the home side had half of their players missing and were in poor form.
He eventually got investigated etc. but obviously did nothing wrong so kept his winnings.
