I'm fine with it. We don't have any leaders, we lack players with his experience and he is a proven winner. Plus he's a nasty bastard and we are way too nice. If you want to judge this signing before he kicks a ball I suggest looking at Liverpool forums. Overwhelmingly gutted he is leaving, and many think he still has a couple of good seasons left in him. I give this singing a A-

i do see where your coming from, but the days of top 4 are a long way off.
Next we need to establish ourselves as a solid 7/10th place team, and Robertson will help us do that. It’s a solid signing for our current situation
 
I watched this boy week-in, week-out play his first season of professional football as a kid at my club in Scotland, what a brilliant young team Dundee United had then with him in it.

Always had a soft spot for him and have been glad to see him go on to have the career he’s had, despite it being with Liverpool. On a personal level, I’m buzzing for that to almost kinda come full circle now for me, watching him play for my other footballing love.

What I will say for all the people that think he’s a cnut, he’s very easy to get behind and love when he’s playing for your own club. He’ll give absolutely everything in every game, that’s the first thing I noticed about him in his very first game in pre-season for United against Dunfermline back in 2013.
 
I like the signing. Just because he didn't stay at Liverpool, whether it was his choice or theirs, doesn't mean he's finished at the top. Or near to the top in our case. I'm sure he'll do a good job for us.

Enjoying the subtitles jokes. For what it’s worth, he was trying very hard to speak your language. Seems too me he only lapsed when he went for “yiz” rather than “you”.

But trust me, that was his posh “answering the phone” voice.
