Really like this signing. For a stopgap player, Robertson’s about as good as it gets.
He gives us a year or two to see if Udogie can ever be relied on, and sends a clear message: if you’re not contributing positively, for whatever reason, you’ll get upgraded—even if it’s just an older player for now.
It also frees Spence to properly rotate (fight for a starting spot?) with Porro, rather than being the guy we turn to in desperation to plug any holes.
This one signing could fix multiple issues, and that’s before even thinking about how his experience could help others develop their game or potentially how good we could be with 3 at the back and Robertson / Porro / Udogie / Spence doing wingback work.

I'm not saying sign him right now but keep an eye out for and then swoop before some other cunt comes in. Not just the assist, been a revelation in this Scotland side being so direct and quick with ability to beat the man.
You're not getting signed for Liverpool and other Premiership sides like Bournemouth if you're considered shite. But as this thread is for Robertson, I'll leave it here and pick up in the most relevant thread when the time comes.
He looks better in the Scotland side because it has no pace elsewhere so he gives them an extra dimension. I’m far from an expert on him but from what bit I’ve seen he looks a bit of a headless chicken at times. He also only has 3 career goals to his name (scored for Middlesbrough in the Championship) and a single international goal to his name, which isn’t good for someone who will be 21 later this year.

It is such a shame because in Ange's first season it was thrilling to watch Udogie, Maddison and Son together.
