Thanks I was just about to go to sleep, now i have a severe bout of heartburn just looking at that plank

I was ange in until I realised how rigid his tactics are/were . . . . no matter how much money you throw at him -its not going to work - look at Chavs. The money thrower/owner has been restrained.

This Chaotic Football has got to stop.

I selected 'undecided' because there's not a 'don't care' option. He could leave tomorrow or in May. I couldn't give a fuck.

He's not good enough at this level. He is poor at rotating the squad, which is part of the reason we've been saddled with injuries. He's incapable of change. Some of our players have regressed, some not pushed on. He's been out-thought by plenty of other managers to the point of looking clueless. He's fucking useless at inspiring the players during a game. He stands there, a grizzled statue of incompetence as we fall apart against supposedly lesser teams.

But I quite like it when we go balls out and win big. His football can be entertaining and I'll take it over the bland nothingness of Conte any day.

But, again, he's not good enough. Neither are some of the players he's been saddled with, or I suspect some of his coaching staff, or the recruitment team - and most certainly not their boss at the top.

I don't think sacking him will make much difference. We get someone else in and maybe we climb a place or two higher, but that's about it. I'll still be feeling disgruntled because it just won't be enough. The imbalance will remain, the squad shallow and always two or three signings short of pushing to compete for the biggest prizes.

And ever more shall all this be so while Levy is in charge.

Think i have deluded myself whole last season, based on same arguments that are being provided by current Ange-in crew. Started having doubts after Brighton, become Ange-out after CP, but wanted to give him time for rest of this season. After last week, hope we will make change sooner than later.

That's a really good post. And probably one that can't be argued with.
It made me wonder to change my vote to undecided in the absence of a don't care option, like yourself, but I'll stick with my out vote on the principle that I never wanted him in the first place due to the appointment dragging the expectation levels of our fanbase in to the gutter.

I put in undecided because I think the jury is still out but I’m quite clear in my view, I say leave him in until the end of the season to make sure we are not missing a trick, perhaps his system might eventually work, perhaps the players might come around. Given all the turnover traffic with our managers and the lack of an obvious replacement I’m for seeing the season out with Ange. Mind you, I’m don’t have a high confidence level that he’ll survive through to next season.

We'll never invest adequately in the quality of players he needs to make his system work in the most competitive league in the world.

He won't change his system, so we probably need to change the manager.

Ange with more ambitious owners on the other hand. .:sonhmm:

It still wouldn’t work unless you are spending Chelsea level money on the rebuild. His tactics are not good enough, he has way too little flexibility.

Out, out, out.
But only if levy and ENIC fuck off too.
Unless it’s a package deal then keep Ange and make them lot squirm.
How many managers since they took over?
How many trophies?
I’m no glory hunter. I’ve still got my John Duncan signed photo from the old shop. My dad brought it home about 45 years ago after a “jolly”
I love this club. That won’t change. But my will to carry on supporting a system that rinses and repeats with the same result is a fucking living ball and chain.
And I’m not getting younger or more patient.

Good post Bolton. Straight from the heart as always.
I like it.
