I'm so disappointed for Ange. I really think he was the right man for the club. But he is literally being left to drown with the summer recruitment, injury crisis and lack of 'starter' signings. I honestly think that our front line is probably 8th or 9th best in the premier league, and alongside having our 'system' defenders out we are are looking a mess. If you had quality up front then it would give the players hope. I also don't see another coach getting much more out of them, we are lightweight mentally and physically. So, at the moment i'm not Ange out until I know who the replacement is. If it's Mason or Terzic then i'm Ange in.
Absolutely fucking BOLLOCKS was the the right man.

He's no more the right man than any dickhead from the Circus Tavern league.

Jesus Christ this fanbase.

The evidence shows otherwise. Conte sacked in 4th, Mourinho in 7th, Nuno 8th. All much better than Ange.

Obviously the revenue will crumble with relegation but that's not yet a major risk. I'm saying ENIC is happy with mid table as long as There's no drama.
Ok. Relegation is a risk if Ange stays. Lose this weekend and all the “relegation isn’t a risk” chat on this board will evaporate

This is just the dumbest fucking shit his fanbase keeps coming up with

There's litterally hundreds of coaches around the UK and Europe who would do a better job than losing every fucking game you pillock,
It’s actually insane. This is the first time he’s managed anywhere close to this level and has taken us into a relegation battle, yet the narrative from some is “who could do better” fucking whattt? Literally anyone who’s managed in a serious league before could do better than having us closer to relegation than to Bournemouth.

Yeah, that's the kind of attitude that's gonna make relegation a distinct possibility.

We'll sleepwalk into the final third of the season thinking there's no chance (remember those 10 games in 2023?!?) and then all of the usual suspects go into survival mode, grinding out the necessary points to make a fist of it up to the final day.

You reckon our bunch have the stones for that?

In case you think that ultimately quality will pull us through, a couple of wins will drag us clear, may I just remind you of Ipswich at home, Fulham and Wolves? Where do you really see wins coming from right now? Southampton at home remaining so you'd think there's one, but tbh dropping points in that would hardly shock me.

I'm not even kidding here, Steve Bruce would do better, and he'll take any job...

Mate I'd have sacked him a few weeks ago, don't worry.

I don't think we're bad enough to get relegated, no, but I don't want to take that gamble either.

Got more lives than a fucking cat this guy. I was willing to back off a bit after the Liverpool result, it was a promising sign that maybe Ange had re-evaluated his priorities against sides we're going to be blown out of the water against if we play this suicidal high line Ange-ball system against them, but reading what he said about the Woolwich match, saying how the players "didn't have a go at Woolwich" and "I don't train them to sit in and counter" I just lost all fucking hope for the guy. It's all well and good having these romantic ideas of going gung-ho in every match and blowing teams out of the water but the approach just doesn't fucking work against most sides; it doesn't work against low or mid block counter attack sides and it doesn't work against sides more technically or physically proficient than we are, leaving a depressingly narrow category of teams we seem to excel against, which is sides willing to have a go who are technically worse football teams than us.

We need a man in who can pull in wins from teams up and down the table. We've had so many better managers than Ange in the last 20 years, I can't fathom for the life of me why this manager in particular is getting a seemingly infinite amount of patience.

It's plain and simple why we are where we are.

We sold Harry Kane, the best striker in world football.

He is irreplaceable. The club cannot sign such talented players to replace him since Spurs have zero pedigree/kudos in world football (Nobody dreams to play for Spurs).

We were always going to have a period of rebuild. We got lucky when we sold Bale - we brough a bunch of gash replacements, but Kane, Ali, Eriksen exceeded all expectations.

Spurs are now back to their level. Our competition is West Ham, Palace, Brighton; looking for 6th-8th - that is the reality.

The way into getting back as title contenders involves forming a squad of players - not relying on a single superstar to bail us out. This may take time as some players will fall short of expectations - Vicario, Bissouma, Romero, Richalison have been big let downs. Meanwhile Bergvall, Grey, Spence are beginning to shine.

There is no instant recovery from losing your best player. It doesn't matter who the coach is.

Whats important is that the coach can keep the dressing room and not throw his toys out of the pram because things don't go his way. The players love Ange - with Romero saying he would walk if Ange left.

He needs to go immediately. There’s a lot of managers out there that would do better with this squad of players.

We are in a relegation battle, 7 points away from 18th and our form is shocking. It’s such a no brainer he needs to go.

I’d say the players haven’t really given up on him entirely either, so the form could very easily get a bit worse.

I have no idea why anyone would want him to stay

Kane is not the issue. We finished 5th last season sans Harry Kane. Our level is not fucking Palace, Brighton, West Ham and it hasn't been for years and years, the simple fact of the matter is we have hired a bargain bin manager and we are getting bargain bin results for it.

What on earth are you on about? You sound like a gaslighting victim FFS.

Spurs are the 4th highest earning club in England, no the rivals should NOT be West Ham, Palace and Brighton. While the title is of course incredibly difficult , we have every right to expect MUCH better than this every season.

The club is both being mismanaged by Levy and the team dreadfully coached by Postecoglou.

Kane left in 2023. The team is worse this season than last, what's that got to do with Kane?!

This is just nonsense man, Kane is long gone and teams adapt. Why are Nottingham Forest currently able to be so high in the table?

I don’t care if Romero who likes to go awol loves Ange, he will learn to love the next manager aswell if he’s being picked to play.

Get Ange out this fantasy needs to stop

What is it that makes you think suddenly everything is rosy if he gets sacked?

There is the chance that it gets even worse.

And I think he is on borrowed time by the way. But who are you putting in charge if he gets sacked in the next few weeks?
Because he is demonstrably an extremely poor coach and there are coaches who will come in on an interim basis and very likely do better. Tho that isn’t guaranteed, such is life

I would happily take Dyche over Ange. All fucking day long

Total BS post I’m afraid. We have the 6th highest wage bill in the PL. plus one of the bigger transfer budgets. Under Levy 4-8 is our level
