Had a day to stew over last night's result and think back. That was the derby. What were we doing in that first half? What was that Tamworth 90mins about? The Liverpool 6-3 at home? Has he stopped talking about his dad in his motivational speeches and started talking about Basil Fawlty?

Ange, a man I've come to realise is curiously brittle both as a tactician and a man, doesn't have the answers. He looks completely out of his depth at this cut-throat level. We need someone who can clean a high-rise and we've employed a bungalow window cleaner who's swinging around like a wookie on the end of a rope trying to wash the penthouse with his arse.

Ange out.
Yep. He's a complete fraud. Out of his depth and prone to talking utter bloody drivel. The man was over promoted and we are seeing it all the decision he has made are wrong. Watching Djed Spence again among utter chaos last night ( that ball with his outside of his boot) looked like a bekon of class and the boy did not play for two years. The whole football operation is a sham.

For anyone who’s saying ‘Ange might be the worst Tottenham manager ever”, you guys either have very short term memory or obviously haven’t been supporting the club all that long. We came 5th in his first full season. We also scored one of our highest number of league goals, not just in the EPL history but in the history of the club and that was without Kane. We’ve been dealt with probably the worst injury crisis I’ve seen as a Spurs fan. For god sake we’ve been playing an 18 year old midfielder as our centre back! We also got down to our third choice goalie! We’ve been chewing out managers for years and got nothing to show for it.

I certainly agree, but even if the form of our last 10 (.9 ppg) holds through the end of the season, that has us finishing with 39 points.

The last time a club was relegated on 39 points was in 2010-11, and the time before that was Spam in 02-03. So yes it's possible to be relegated where we are trending, but this happens once every 10-15 years. We are very likely to be safe with that total.

All that being said, there are numerous years were that point total would land us in 16th or 17th, so we could very well have the ignominy of being in the "not yet safe" conversation up to the final weeks, which is deplorable.
Agree. My concern is that if it does come to a relegation scrap we don’t have the pedigree of the teams like Everton, Spam, Leicester etc who know how to’ ‘grizz out’ the results.

Name a ‘Worst’ one since Terry Neill!

Have you seen Bournemouth’s injury crisis? Take a look at it - then take a look at the league table - then ask yourself again why you think Ange is going to make it..

Cannot believe the number of pages of posts on this thread today after a defeat to a team that we have a total of 1 win in 31 years. The Ange out are making the most posts and some making ridiculous claims about who they want. One quoted Forest’s rise under Nunes, been there and he was universally considered a disaster. As far as I am aware the vocal fans at the ground are still supporting Ange and it will only be when they turn that Levy will act.
If he does then not only will the heat come off Levy but gone will be a chance to finally win a trophy probably for years. Not because Ange will definitely win one but because any new Manager will know that it is only the league position that matters and will go back to playing the players not good enough to start in the PL in the cups and we will lose to the likes of Colchester and the disastrous Conference year.
The new Manager will discard some of the existing team as they do not fit into his way of thinking, want players that do and we restart yet another rebuild. I am sick of not winning a trophy, constant Managerial changes and constant rebuilds. Something has to change.
We are not in a relegation fight and yet still in 3 cups. I really do not expect to beat Liverpool but that will not be a trigger for me. It is the Europa cup that we should aim for and next Thursday is more important than Everton.
Now is not the time to sack the Manager and once we have the numbers back to stop certain players playing 2 matches a week we should see an improvement. A lot could happen before the end of the season but that is still the time to make long term decisions about the Manager.

Another one on the pills... thursday is more important than Everton? Are you serious?! We are fighting to stay in the league and you just discard a 6 pointer?

There's no way we're getting a point from Everton, so we might as well save the legs for the Europa league. As long as we aren't relegated and win the Europa, it'll be like this season didn't happen.

and wait for all this to blow over simon pegg GIF

Spence hadn't played for a number of reasons.

- often late to training
- going out at night to nightclubs / bars
- Poor attitude, and wasn't friendly with the other players
- Didn't want to participate in non football tasks (charity/media etc)
- Didn't put in the work when on loan

Ange told him he would get his chance if he worked hard and proved himself - which indeed he has done.

Again, drew Leicester and lost to Palace and Ipswich with a healthy squad.

Blaming the injuries is nonsense, we weren't good when we were healthy. Now we're just worse.

Ange is a bad joke.
