Exactly it has nothing to do with more signings- point is about our youth project...
It’s fantastic and v exciting. I genuinely think 3 or so from Donley, Devine, Begvall, Moore, Lankshear and Gray et al will become first team talents and they all look good enough to play a role in the squad ahead of inconsistent, overpaid tossers that have plagued us recently eg PEH, Sess, Sanchez, Winks etc etc

Importantly, it should allow us to put out valuations to one side and overpay for two key first players. We don’t need to invest in the squad due the aforementioned talent but we do need first 11 improvement. If Gyokeres costs 75M, Eze 60M or Isak 125M, pay it (if Ange and others all back them)

This is why it's so lazy to say we were "found out"

Compare that whole sequence to the latter half of last season. Movement all over, you've got quick passes, willing runners... In that clip alone, you've got Romero at right wing, Udogie in central midfield, you have Porro overlapping at one stage. You've got long switches of play etc.

Why that deserted us last season, I don't know. Probably the stop start nature of losing players to injury, suspensions, international tournaments, the likes of Werner being bedded in to a completely different system, having a game on average every 9 days and lack of rhythm etc. Who knows.

We will get back there though. Young vibrant squad next season, excellent additions on Gray and Bergvall who aren't afraid to play football. And lots more games to be able to use the squad, get used to the style and keep a rythm flowing.

Could be seeing a 3-2-5 build up with Biss/Gray dropping in between CB's to give us more options to play out from the back and defensive solidarity on turnovers.

Pretty much what I said would happen.

As always, Ange's first season is about going full throttle with getting everyone on board and playing the same way. The tactical nuances and fine tuning come the second season. As proven everywhere he's been.

Kulusevski even alluded to it the other day in an interview.

Also makes sense throwing further players forward to help/support the attack which was the weakest part of our team.

We have to assume that the attack will definitely be upgraded this Summer.
