lets hope so. one result to shout home about since march is hardly egg on face tho skippy.
Imagine being a "supporter" of a side 3 points off 3rd in the league, still in all the cups, coming off a week beating the champions and the side leading the Champions league AND winning 9 of your last 11 and only wanting to find reasons to throw shade on your manager and say "only 1 game counts since March" while constantly wanting to tell people you're not far enough in front of 10th to be suitable. hahaha. Geez you must be fun at parties!

Never fear though, your name calling game is on point if anyone dare suggest the glass isn't half empty!

No, no.
Beating foreign teams that belong in L1 and Coventry who are currently 13th in the Championship doesn't do anything for our building. All it really does, is give some fans a buzz for a while. It could even be more counter productive than helpful. You get arrogant when you win. We got arrogant right up to the 2nd half against Brighton, and when they showed up they knocked us clean out. Thought we were back on track beating a dreadful West Ham and get easily beaten by winless Palace.

Hard to say now. If we got to the final and won against Coventry, a not-interested City and then United play a B team and then we have Southampton and Palace in the semi and the final, it would be hard to really be overly proud of that win.

In 1999 we beat Liverpool and Man United on the way to the final. Liverpool at Anfield.
In 2008 we beat City when we had 10 men, we Woolwich 5-1 and then Chelsea in the final.

TBH, I can't see United doing anything other than trying to go strong in the 1/4 final so my scenario is unlikely.
It's also unlikely Palace and Southampton see off Liverpool and Woolwich. So if we beat United, we're likely to have to play 1 or both of Liverpool and Woolwich to win the whole thing.
I doubt Woolwich would go weak against Us, and I reckon Slott will want an early trophy.
So we get shit for not winning cups and now our own supporter is saying that we shouldn't be proud of winning a cup if we have a less sexy draw?!

Un-fucking-believable.

A further thought when the draw is being made the vast majority of Spurs fans are hoping for a home draw against a lesser team . Pretty bloody obvious why

Are these guys or gals hoping for a tough away draw ?
Are they hoping that the bigger teams don’t meet each other so one gets knocked out , making it a potentially easier path to a final?

All the fans of other clubs I know are happy when the answer to the above two questions are no !!

EDIT : I guess the small clubs like Crewe or Barnet etc want a big team for the payday. However even Championship teams fans if they got to a qtr or semi final I suspect would want the easier draw so they get to Wembley

Finally why in international or foreign competition do you want to top the group usually , and if not it’s because the other groups are not turning out as expected . Either way you are looking for the easier game in the last 16

Majority of our fans on here would have zero interest in winning or even competing in the Europa Conference League.

We are a very entitled bunch in Tottenham.

It’s who we are mate!!

Just popped in to give you a break from all the seering white hot analysis. Excited to report the long awaited return of an Ange dream.

He was managing our Air B&B at an unknown foreign destination. Excellent host, went the extra mile fixing a curtain so I could catch up on some work without the sun glaring on my laptop screen. Also made a mean pizza, which I ate on the floor as I didn't want to risk spilling food on his chinzy sofa.

You're welcome.

"You get arrogant when you win"

Lose and remain humble is the flip side of that coin isn't it? Something you would prefer I assume because it suits your whinging and moaning tendencies to a tee!
