Likely we’ll be 3rd or 4th for the November international break

Into the league cup quarters

In the top 8 of the Europa

All whilst having to contend with injuries

Not entirely sure how Ange could have done any better than that? But the usual suspects will spin it to look like he’s worse than Christian Gross somehow

You can never truly know the world around you, all you have is your interpretation of it.

Always liked that psychology quote.

what context does he lack?

The fact that we should be compared to any other top 6 club based on revenue totally ignoring the fact that the club have has to take a step back and lower expectations in the short term and are going through a rebuild

When Ars finished 8th twice the fans didn't accept it but the club did, they humbled themselves and the rest is history...

Anyways it's a repeated argument from a few weeks ago, we had this discussion back then but you must have forgotten what I said so ..

I understand thus but I think folk just have a hard time accepting that we're not the club we were under peak Poch and we are in rebuilding mode. I actually think the club had a hard time accepting this because we hired Jose and Conte and had moved into this massive stadium post CL final we thought we were up there with the big boys.

Hiring Ange was an admission from the club to say that we need to humble ourselves and start again which basically means we needed to lower our expectations in the short term for long term gain, this rebuild should have happened 5 years ago but no one at the club was ready to accept the challenge, we had an identity crisis.

This is why I'm all in on Ange by the way, I think he's the right man for the club, he gets it...he's a manager who constantly gets written off and mocked and he's at a club who suffer the same fate...the guy is absolutely determined to win with us and when he does it will be even more sweeter, two fingers up to the naysayers, the media, rival fans etc...

People keep saying this after every defeat though. I saw exactly the same comments after the recent Palace and Brighton debacles.

What I don't get is that all of our previous managers would have got dogs abuse for these displays, yet this one seems to somehow be unaccountable and it's all on the players.

The players he picks and he coaches
Well I suppose that just depends on who is writing the comment.

I'm in support of the manager/s, for as long as is tenable. They know more than I do. I hate to lose as much as I love to win.

We are going along quite nicely, imv. It looks as if things are starting to formulate. Hiccups here and there but most managers have that when they are assimilating considerable change.

I'm sticking it out with Ange and see where we go. I certainlet feel better supporting Spurs now than I have done for quite some time, and that's just a-okay with me. I used to be super super die hard, didn't miss a game for 7 seasons but football and its coverage has sucked some soul from itself. Love for Spurs remains, but for the game it has tempered.

Well, people were wrong for giving dogs abuse then and they are wrong for doing it now.

Maybe you want to live in world full of people being pricks but guess what... many, and actually it seems like more of us don't.

You do you mate.

Even after losing on Thursday and conceding 3 goals, we have won more games, condeded less and scored more goals than last season.

He can’t (Ange) Tottenham Hotspur are worth watching win, draw or lose obviously not losing all the time 😂 he’s got a young squad and by the looks of of it they want to play for him and believe in what he’s trying to do and so should we …..all the negative twats on here are just here to get a reaction they’re not Tottenham fans but most of us know that.

As usual people got carried away proclaiming him the next big talent based on no actual knowledge of him
People do that a lot on here mate. There's actually a name for this kind of phenomenon but I can't remember what it is.
Someone posts a clip or passes a comment on how the kid shows potential. Followed by a few more saying he could be perfect for Ange's system or how we've beaten off major competition to secure his signature.
Within days he's the next Lionel Messi and any fans not so eager to jump on the Euphoria bandwagon must be wife beating gooners.🤪

seriously when is this cunt getting sacked. fucking awful lineup and system. any semi competent side will beat us by being deep and compact and countering. sunday league manager.

any side that doesnt sit deep and counter us has a manager as stupid as this fool. easy fucking game! son and johnson as wingers trying to break through a side sitting deep with bodies behind the ball LOOOOOL. jokers.
